Isaiah Hartenstein has agreed to push back the guarantee date on his contract with the Rockets.
Hartenstein's contract was originally set to be fully guaranteed on July 15, but pushing it back allows the Rockets to have more flexibility as they navigate their offseason. The team signed Tyson Chandler to a one-year deal, which makes Hartenstein more expendable than he was previously. Hartenstein did not play in the Rockets' Summer League finale after spraining his right ankle.

He’d fit into the Layman TPE. If he hits the market I’d be allll over it.

Last year in the g league

    19.5 ppg
    14.7 rpg
    3.8 apg
    2.0 bpg

I don’t get the Boston hype. Maybe the thinking is that Kyrie was that detrimental to their overall success because he killed their chemistry.

Agreed. Walker may be an upgrade, but they lost their front court in Horford and Baynes. They lost their back up point guard in Rozier. They got worse.

I also don't understand the hype for Philadelphia. Yeah they got Horford and Richardson which help make a hell of a starting 5 (Simmons, Richardson, Harris, Horford, Embiid) but they barely have a bench. I don't think they are as good as they are made out to be. It certainly helps they are in the east.

I would change "contendor" to "contender." Also, swap out our horrible pinwheel parallelogram logo for the newer one.

So Marcus Morris fired Rich Paul because he advised him to turn down a 40+ million dollar contract from the Clippers?

    Shitty agent.

Well, he didn't have to follow his advice. Wouldn't be the first agent who gave bad advice on occasion.

Seems super shitty. Maybe that’s why he is ranked #2 instead of #1.

It happened to Nerlens Noel too who also fired him. Turned down a nice offer from Dallas. 4 years $70 million.
Now he’s making about $2 million a season.

Well for me it’s definitely much better than keeping him against his will for a year and then losing him for nothing though I am aware a lot of people would prefer that.

Another offer of similar magnitudes wasn’t out there for sure unless we are willing to believe Barrett would have been a more enticing asset than anything they got here.

For me if 2-3 of the players they got can turn out to be A- level players and compliment Zion well that deal is already great.

That I never understood. Did Noel think he could become a max level player or what? He’s likely not going to exceed $10million in a season again in his career and I wouldn’t even bet that he will receive $70million combined in the next 10 seasons.

Well for sure they were in a bad situation and at least got something for him. I guess my point is, I think we know the quantity sounds like a lot, Im not sure we know yet if the quality is much.

I think I said when it happened oh they shouldve sat him next year and tanked another season, but obviously getting something is better than nothing and that plan wasnt a good one.
Its hard to find. A level players theres maybe 15-20 of them in the entire league. So yeah if they got 2-3 then that’d be ok...

Back in 2017 when Clippers traded Paul to Rockets, I don't think many would have expected that the Clippers got a much. much better end of that deal. Fast forward two years and Beverley, Lou Williams and Harrell are integral pieces of Clippers team and have helped them acquire Kawhi and PG13 while Rockets struggled to offload Paul in a trade and had to attach two first round picks and two swaps to turn him into Westbrook, who isn't that great of a fit for them either. How many firsts it would take for them to turn Paul into Beverley, Williams and Harrell now - 8?

Portland Trail Blazers: Constructing ideal Danilo Gallinari trade package
The Portland Trail Blazers have long needed a third scorer to become title contenders. Packaging a deal for Danilo Gallinari may be their best option.

Following the recent implosion of the Oklahoma City Thunder, their assets have become available to the open market as they look to make the most of their historic war chest of draft assets. Danilo Gallinari was recently acquired in the trade that sent Paul George to the LA Clippers and should be at the top of the Portland Trail Blazers list of priorities......
