My brother was in the U.S. Marines. He developed schizophrenia while he was in. They threw him in the Brig and fed him bread and water. He ran away and was caught in Canada. The Marines got him back and it was back in the brig. My parents got an attorney and my parents said until their dying breaths that the lawyer was what saved my brother's life. The lawyer got him a medical discharge. The Marines are not always the glorified organization that it's made out to be. There are times in battle that they represent us proudly and there are other times when they are disgraceful. If I could find my brother's old sergeant I'd break his nose.
