It's weird I always felt like Lavar talked to much and said outlandish things for the attention. However I also think he tried to right by his kids, whether he was right or wrong.
But I think he let that fame get the best of him, and sent his kids all over the place to play basketball. I feel bad that other people, young people at that seem to have failed, and their dreams look to be out the window.

Outside of sports where I cheer for teams to lose, like the lakers or whatever, I find it hard to be excited about other people failing, I mean he's got teenagers whose lives will be really affected forever by some of the things he's done.

Unless there's more kids, his youngest, while likely affected some, will be just fine. He's gonna play in Australia for a year, and has a really good shot at being a lottery pick next t year.

I think he would have to play really well down under, as his brother hasn't panned out that well to this point and the family baggage is substantial. Not to mention the constant fear of knowing that any Ball you draft will likely end up back in LA at some point.

I have no problem with the Ball boys. All 3 of them seem like good kids. The middle one I guess had that theft incident, but outside of that I’ve never seen or read anything that would lead me to believe they weren’t raised right.

Zo has always seemed respectful and plays with a good attitude. Really it’s just their dad who is the clown.

He will be a lotto pick. I’ve been watching a lot of his Drew League tape. He’s a legit 6’7/6’8 now, taller than Lonzo. He too has funky form but he’s a much better shooter than Lonzo and a good passer/high IQ player. He’s the complete opposite of Lonzo defensively though, who I think is a plus defender. He has no interest in guarding.

Was kind of hoping the Blazers would give him a shot.

Play half a season and I’d be willing to bet they may OK a deal with Simons as the centerpiece...

What's a possible trade for Griffin by the Trail Blazers?

Whiteside+Simons/Zach would probably be the starting offer, I imagine.

Fuck giving up Simons and Zach for BG. I’ll give them salary cap relief and 1st round picks and Little/Skal :)

I don't think Zach or Simons
Even if there weren't any sources at all, I can see Griffin wanting a better situation than a .500 team in the Eastern Conference. Maybe OKC could try out a reunion with Chris Paul, trading some expiring contracts and some picks.

Will Simons ever be as good as Griffin is now? Come on guys. This guy is a legit all NBA player. Risky yes, but the reward could be massive.

I’d give up Zach before Simons, if I had to.

Same, but mainly because he’s up for a new contract sooner.

Pistons desperately need a PG though, I think they would prefer Simons.

That's a good question. We don't know the answer. So I'd rather trade a player like CJ McCollum where we know the answer. McCollum could be an All Star in the eastern conference.
