Not upset Sly. This is normal stuff.
Craig even thinks I would be envious of 1st responders. A perfectly normal deduction by sane men.

BTW. I didn't want @Further post deleted. I think it should stand to show him to be a thoughtful
    decent man.

I didn't say it was. Nor did I intend to imply he did.

I guess we better hope Portland doesn’t suffer a terrorist attack, we’ll have to foot the bill.

Terrorist attack? Ah! according to Omar, that was just, "some people did something".

You don't really think some people would do something in Portland do you?

That's not an accurate representation of what she said and the context of how she said it.

(And just for the record this does not mean that I support her. I would not want her as my elected representative but instead of spinning and twisting what she said, let's actually take the time to criticize and debate her actual positions.)

“Far too long we have lived with the discomfort of being a second-class citizen, and frankly, I’m tired of it, and every single Muslim in this country should be tired of it, CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties. As an American member of Congress, I have to make sure I live up to the ideals of fighting for liberty and justice — those are very much rooted in the reason why my family came here.”

Come to think of it, I can't recall Federal help ever coming to Oregon for any disaster.
"The most destructive windstorm of recorded history in the Pacific Northwest occurred on October 12, 1962".

I don't recall any help for that one and it sure as hell was the worst I ever saw. I got new roofing nailed down on our house in West Linn, and I was off to Puerto Rico
to prep a Cruiser squadron to go to Cuba.. Busy busy time.

Ah lets stick with a discussion of Federal aid to Oregon for anything!
But if you want to discuss Omar more, then don't forget, she was defending the nine or so Somalis that joined ISIS. That impresses the shit out of me.

Why not? But when a foreign entity attacks a US city, the US is being attacked. I guess it makes sense though since you and Trumpets told Puerto Rico to fuck off.

Oregon receives more federal spending than it pays in. Might be best not to whine about it too much lest the teat dry up.

Rand Paul never gets to talk about the Deficit again after voting for Trumps Tax Cuts.

    Rand Paul is spot on.
But I sure don't know why he has to do it. It seems to me the City of New York and the constituent Corporations that receive the services of the Fire fighter are responsible
financially for the welfare of those that responded. Surely not future generations of the whole nation out to 2092???? WTF???

Federal funds were used to build the Freedom Tower.

If federal funds were used in building what replaced the WTC then federal funds can be used to help the 1st responders and other volunteers.

When Rand Paul voted for the Trump tax cuts there were provisions to offset the cost. After he voted, they sneakily removed the provisions, going against his wishes to not increase the debt. Yeah, scummy.
Rand Paul literally always votes the same, no matter the issue. He won’t support something unless the cost is offset. This is not unprecedented in any way, nor is it some double standard against 9/11 first responders.

I know MSNBC and Fox and CNN gave you guys your cue to start screaming, but please use common sense instead.
