I will be writing a special series of articles, one for each team analyzing their summer moves, incoming and outgoing players, their record last year and how they will compare this coming season. Stay tuned!

For now, her is a link to my 2019-20 NBA predictions for final standing in the east and west. What do you guys think? Am I in the ball park or way off? Are there teams you would move up or down? Did I predict too high for some teams or too low for others? Post your thoughts.

I'm pretty skeptical that Portland will win more games than last season. Considering Nurkic's injury and major roster changes, I'd really expect some early season struggles. I think that's especially true considering that the Dame/CJ teams have historically been slow starters. I'd expect 48-50 wins for Portland

Houston has big implosion potential. They might be real good but will likely have issues trying to mesh Harden/Westbrook. I'd move them a little lower.

I think Denver will be good and improved. Grant is an underrated addition and the rest of the team is back. I'd move them up. Utah is improved as well but they have some injury prone players

I also think there could be more separation between the Clippers and everybody else. Of course, 'load management' might prevent that

If OKC leaves that roster as is, they will win a lot more than 24 games...CP3, SGA, Roberson/Ferguson/ Gallo, & Adams is a decent starting lineup

Looks pretty close to me. Like last year I again, thing the Lakers will underachieve. I think teams will run on them and wear then down.

I think we’re going to be very good. Early season will be tough, but by Feb we should be rolling. I think we can win it all.

For the west, very close to spot on. The only team that is too high is the Rockets. I would have them 6th, not 2nd.

C Paul is a much better shooter than Westbrook, by a wide margin. Paul spread the floor for Harden. I believe Harden/Westbrook with be easier to guard than Harden/Paul.

I really like the changes the Jazz made, and may have them higher. But it will be a blood bath in the west for the top 5 spots.

True, but Chris Paul is also the most overrated player in the NBA.

Last season, 127 NBA players were asked who are the most overrated NBA players.

They voted Westbrook #1 most overrated.
Harden also made the list, CP3 did not.

Might that be because other NBA players overrate CP3? :dunno:

I really don't know if the Spurs will make it this year. They were really uninspiring last year and the conference top to bottom is so much better. I honestly think a team like NO or Dallas will give them a run for their money.

I think the spurs trade Aldridge and DeRozan this season.
