https://www.nbcsports.com/northwest...aking-news-zach-collins-sustains-ankle-injury Expected to be ready by training camp, but these injuries tend to linger.
This was/is a big summer for him so it's pretty unfortunate he has to spend it recovering from injury.
I want to see what a healthy Zach Collins can give us a a starter. It would be almost equally as intriguing to think what Skal could give you as a starter.
It sucks that he won't be able to workout more this summer, but it's better that this happened now and not during training camp. Give him two solid months to recover.
He can still watch film and work on upper body lifting..shoot freethrows, etc...he's in a boot, not a cast
The injury occurred two weeks ago and did not require surgery......that gives him two full months to heal but yeah it sucks that he will be limited in his practice drills this summer.
True but there others he won't be able to do. I never actually watch how he shoots free throw but it don't throw off his mechanic then sure.
Last year in late season and then through the playoffs, I was hoping he could have played. He seemed like a bench man for good. I wonder if Stotts will ever give him a chance.
