    Thank you all! I had a great day by myself here in the woods.....always think of my mom on this day...it was her day in my world...we'd talk from wherever we were in the world and I'd send her a gift..felt her presence somehow all day

    Happy Birthday Riv!. I made it to 65 a month before you and I should have warned you; the view from here kinda sucks. But it beats the alternative. And the Medicare thing is actually kind of cool, once you get past all the obnoxious bastards trying to sell you Medigap insurance. And best of all, you now get ALL the senior discounts that are available out there. Enjoy!

    For a guy who's been pretty much unplugged from the world of shopping I notice the junk mail from insurance companies is getting to be a daily load of crap.....they mask some of these letters to look so official.....gotta say I'm lovin' the Eugene VA clinic now....I should've signed up there decades ago...
