I don't make racist jokes because they're offensively stupid and I am not.
I make Mrs. HCP jokes because HCP gets a kick out of it, not because I have any interest in any other woman than my wife.

Look, everyone is wired differently and one of the hardest things to figure out on a message board can be when someone is joking around or when they're just being an a-hole. I pretty much assume that it's almost always the former and ignore it when it's obvious it's the latter.

This whole 25%-75% thing is funny. Put me in both camps. I dislike @THE HCP .. Don't we all? That doesn't mean I haven't sat in the broadcasting truck with him. He isn't on ignore, either.

This is fairly common knowledge, so you would think that if you are being misunderstood as an ahole when you are joking, you might let that person know in a friendly way its jsut a joke, instead of ramping up the jokes more to look more like an Ahole?????

I mean if its so easy to be missunderstood, then why have a conniption fit when you are misunderstood? Why not be cool and respectable to that person and simply explain it to them in a friendly manner? Maybe because he isnt always joking and hew has people he intentionally enjoys being an ahole to? I have some PMs you should read where he makes it very clear not everything he says is a joke.

Seriously. People need to stop defending his behavior if it is known how difficult it is to know these things.

I know for me, ONE sentence form the outset would have solved everything. "Hey bro, sorry man, don't take me so seriously, im just a jokester around here." But the sentence I got was, "lighten up Francis, Im kinda a big deal around here. Dont like it, leave."

From then on, its BEEN on. And he could have easily solved that by not being such a disrespectful POS. But he made a grown mans decision to NOT do that and let this shit continue and continue and then bitches about it when it does.
I hope you see the incredibly hypocritical behavior he exhibits here. You may think its all a joke, but I assure you, he is not joking with some of us. He has made that plainly clear.
