I'm with you, brother. I was a mess in there; pissed off walking around town staring at my phone, accusing people of flagging my posts. That place sucked.

 

Really?? I've been on this forum longer that both of you two. I've seen all the interactions.

Y'all have largely gotten defensive about really minor shit.

And this is a forum, I'll post whenever and whatever I want within forum rules.

It's like this bro, friends don't lie to each other, they tell their friends the truth as they see it.

Friend to friend, I think y'all are being overly sensitive to a little benign ribbing. When I say this, I don't feel like I should be told to butt out.

We had our issues in the past too. I feel like the moment I met you that all went away. Even now if you post something I dislike or don't agree with I still respect your opinion versus being angry about something you posted.

 

I've seen this movie before. Even if hcp left for say 6 months, the arguing would not stop and someone else would piss you guys off. Or you would piss them off. And the drama would continue. That goes for anyone else on this forum too.

Just ignore it and move on. Put them on ignore. Move on with your life. I've had people fuck me over and continue to talk shit about me. Letting them bother you means they are stuck in your head and winning. Eventually you don't give a shit what people think or say anymore. (I'm more there now than 10 years ago, but definitely still not close to perfect).

I wanted to slip in a grievances category in the list and maybe I should have. Or a putting your phone down before you write that next text/post category. Emotions are pretty high in here right now and that's probably the worst time to get into specifics. I have four kids, I've maintained ex-wives and gotten relative to speak again, and on and on and on, and the one thing that can derail reconciliation (other than emotions) is specifics. Specifics just heighten everything. It might seem absurd but it really isn't.

Real life interaction isn't the same as online. Had he told you to get off the Max until you are 30, you'd have seen his facial expressions and heard his voice inflection. You'd know he was joking and would react differently.
