Good take. Nurk is clearly the 2nd best player on the Blazers IMO.

I don't agree here. He'd at least be considered, but I don't think he'd be guaranteed anything.

Actually it isn't clearly as there are lots of people that think McCollum is the second best player. That doesn't mean they don;t appreciate what Nurkic brings but to say Nurkic is clearly the second base is nothing but an opinion that isn't shared by all.

We all know that. Coaches are usually a few yrs behind and CJ will be a very clear #2 until playoff time this season.

Blazers could sit top of the West with the rockets in 5th,6th,7th, or 8th and unfortunately Harden and Westbrook would both get in over CJ because of the broken system.

CJ delivered big time in a Game 7 on the road on ABC. People will remember that. And if we're on pace for 60 wins, he will get in.

Well Nurk can't make the All Star team this year so it's a moot point.

Well I know that. Just wishing he didn’t get hurt ya know. That is why I had said if. But I still prefer Nurk over CJ.

Let me start off by saying I would like everyone on that poll board to make the all star team (to include the people who voted):ghoti:. Realistically speaking though CJ will have to play his ass off this season.
No one is going to remember what he did in game 7 last year except Blazer fans. Since you can vote as many times as you want the only way he will make it in will be by the coaches nod.

Which is exactly why being selected an all star has lost its shine in my opinion.

I screwed up. I was thinking this year only. Nurk will be the next all star but it will be next year.
