Knives and swords there. But notice 2016, 19 people put to a blade in one spree. But watch out, perhaps we see a change, 2019 and a new super weapon, Fire! Fried 34 in one spray and torch.

I’ll take my chances with a guy and a knife over a guy with a gun anyway and everyday.

I have not heard of Middle East war veterans attacking the general US population. If anyone was to carry stress, most likely, it would be those that saw killing during their deployment.

    I agree.
When it comes to my right to a choice of arms, I will take the gun over a knife everyday. But if they chisel the choice down to perhaps a single shot plunker, that could change.

Blades are the #1 tool/weapon/instrument of engineering, art, defense, hunting, and death in the history of the world, and there is no close second.

They are the invention that allowed humans to evolve from cave rats to rulers of the planet.

I got my first Case pocketknife when I was 8, and it is a rare moment that I am not carrying one. It’s also a rare day that it doesn’t come in handy for something. On planes, a steel barrel pen is a decent substitute for defense.

Gibbs’ rule #9 - Never go anywhere without a knife.

No shit. When I was about 16 I had a kid pull a broken beer bottle on me and threaten to cut me up. Within 30 seconds that beer bottle was out of his hand and he was no longer a threat. If it was a gun, I doubt I would be here. Like the saying goes, don't bring a knife to a gun fight.

See how you are being played by the DSM.

Headlines should all scream Mass Stabbing!

    Doesn’t fit their false narrative.

Oh come on, are you telling me that the caveman and the Romans never shot guns? What about King Arthur's knights?

What false narrative? That there are lots of mass shootings but very few mass stabbings?
The United Kingdom had 280 deaths by knife per year recently but less than 60 murders by homicide in 2011.

    Tiny, Freedom-less country.
UK is acid attack central, over 500 a year get acid thrown in their face. The Brits have always been world leaders in sadistic behavior. What’ll they think of next?

500 acid attacks per year in the United Kingdom versus about 40,000 Americans killed by guns. Which one is the worse problem? Hmmm, wonder what those zany Americans will think of next. Bump stocks? Assault type rifles? Letter bombs?
