Yes well lining up on the streets every month to beat on each other and yell a lot seems like a great way to spend their time...

I find ANTIFA has always been just as hateful as the Proud boys. Just because its hating an ideology you don't agree with doesn't make it less hateful. All these protests/counter protests do, is inspire more hate.

All of these people need to be taken from Portland, sure I may “agree” more with being against Fascism, but not a single part of my being believes for a second that ANTIFA is some group of good guys just trying to help the world out by getting rid of “hate”.

You don’t get it have it your way just for your side. THATS CALLED FUCKING FACISM! That’s what’s so hilarious about these adult children you’re defending. The one smart person in the group is probably some charismatic Manson-type character who has a bunch of complete dipshits convinced they’re doing good work. It’s a joke just like any other gang. A bunch of blind followers.

That's not what facism is. And I'm not defending the people, but the tenets. Also, blind followers?!? Surely you mean the morally bankrupt that defend, actual defend, and follow this president.

I pose the same challenge to you that I posed earlier. Show me a single conservative or neo-nazi protest or riot that happened prior to the riots after Trump was elected.

The part that made no sense to me was why would people riot and/or harass a city that overwhelmingly voted against Trump in the election? It made no sense then, and it makes no sense now. All it did was bring unwanted attention to our city, and attract scummy groups like the Proud Boys and Patriot Prayer to Portland.

I'm not saying that ANTIFA wouldn't exist at all without the creation of groups like the Proud Boys, I'm saying that the Proud Boys would not be in Portland if ANTIFA wasn't here protesting first. ANTIFA created the environment that they're now supposedly counter-protesting.

Exactly. You're proving my point. That's who he talks about: the reaction. Not the actual hate group, but those who hate the hate group...which should be all of us.

Don't be daft. Hating an ideology is much different than having a hateful ideology.

It really depends, the definition of Fascism has changed quite a bit and has different meanings. For some its a very nationalistic, and often times racist thing.

I find that interesting because I know many liberals will strongly insist that people who hate Islam are racist and bigoted. Meanwhile many liberals have gotten to the point where their hatred for conservatives could very easily parallel that same bigotry. I have seen people equate all conservatives to Nazis. I have seen them equate conservatives to racists. I have seen them call conservatives uneducated and stupid. The vitriol between the two parties in this country is completely out of control. But the issue is that one side seems to think they have the moral high ground and that their cause is just, up to and including violence. I have seen liberals talk about "punching nazis." I have seen many liberals defend the riots and ANTIFA. Make no mistake, but ANTIFA is a hateful ideology as well.

I support neither side and I am disgusted with those of you who do.

In this case, I honestly don't think theres much of a case that ANTIFA or the Proud boys have “good people” on their side, at least not the ones who will be screaming at each other for attention... Maybe Im jaded, but I just think the extreme’s of these different views breeds contempt and hatred, and hate is almost never able to be precise and pointed, it spreads.

Antifa didn’t do the damage. Anarchists did. Antifa is standing up to the dip shit invaders now.

I’d love to see how this (or any) administration would go about enforcing this.

One side does have the moral high ground is the thing though. You can't equate dehumanizing innocents with punching Nazis, or I guess you somehow are, which is the problem in my opinion.

Prop...last year my 15 year old grand daughter, two friends and her mother were downtown and were verbally abused with hate speech and one actually threatened to tear my grand daughters shirt off that said "Youth for Christ". They were all in black and more than likely part of the Antifa traffic control police.Yes they are church going girls but have no hate for anyone and certainly wasn't downtown to vandalize property and spew hate.
I've yet to see Antifa express love/support for our country and freedoms. Instead they prefer anarchy against our government/corporations and citizens that respect and love our country.
The right wing nuts are just as bad imo, I think antifa would gain more support by being smarter and not threatening anyone young or old or destroying property and speaking about peace , good citizenship and revealing who they are so their message would be heard.
