Talk about Biden gaffes! Now every time I see Jill Biden I will have that image in my mind. Jill Biden to voters: You may have to 'swallow a little bit' with my husband so we can beat Trump By Joseph A. Wulfsohn | Fox News Speaking at a bookstore in Manchester, N.H., Dr. Jill Biden urged voters on Monday to consider the "electability" of her husband, former Vice President Joe Biden, ahead of the 2020 Democratic primaries, and how they may have to "swallow a little bit" with the Democratic front-runner in order to defeat President Trump. "I know that not all of you are committed to my husband, and I respect that, but I want you to think about your candidate, his or her electability, and who’s going to win this race," Dr. Biden said. "And so if you're looking at that you've got to look at the polls," Biden said. "If they're consistent and they're consistently saying the same thing, I think you can't dismiss that." https://www.foxnews.com/politics/jill-biden-swallow-a-little-bit-with-my-husband-beat-trump The former second lady insisted the party's eventual nominee "just can't have Democrats" in order to win a general election, stressing that person must win over independents. She also pointed to polls in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Michigan, where her husband is leading in matchups against Trump. "You know we have to include everybody, our party has to be more inclusive, which means we have to go to independents and say 'join us,' we have to go to Republicans and say 'OK, you're a Republican, but you can't tell me that your children are proud of the president, you know, of the things he says and, you know, as a mother or as a father, I mean, how can you be proud of that president as a leader?" She continued, "So yes, you know, your candidate might be better on, I don’t know, healthcare than Joe is, but you’ve got to look at who’s going to win this election, and maybe you have to swallow a little bit and say, 'OK, I personally like so and so better,' but your bottom line has to be that we have to beat Trump."
After more time has passed to look into it, and think about it. Yang might be my favorite of the Dems. Im still not 100% sold on UBI, though its interesting. I have a repulsion to feeling like, “Im being sold” something, and I think thats my issue with (well the debates in general), but also Yang. Almost every answer comes back to && $1000! Thats how it comes off to me anyways, like an extra 12k a years gonna solve all of our problems. Anyways, I hope this doesnt come off like Im attacking you, he does have me intrigued. Im just personally not there yet. I tend to vote third party a lot as Im not a big fan of the Red vs Blue. Well Red vs Blue is a pretty awesome Halo video series heh.
Voting 3rd party is a wasted vote though and could open the door for trump. Do you want him for 4 more years?
It really doesnt matter if i vote for Super Mario, the electoral college is set up so “my vote” goes too the person with the D next to their name anyways lol.
I'm not particularly a fan (or a hater!) of Yang, but if you are intrigued you should check out his website - he does have opinions on a great number of topics beyond UBI. UBI is just the hook to get you in the door. barfo
Not in 2016 nor in 2000 nor in 1988 nor in 1980 nor in 1968 nor in 1952. That's forty years out of the last 67 years.
I wrote in Bernie last election cause I'm an anarchist like that and I knew it wouldn't matter. Plus I find the whole lesser of two evils thing hard to swallow. BUT I'm pretty sure I'll swallow it this time around even if I'm not too impressed with the D.
The States, plural, or just the state of Oregon? By the way, Oregon has gone for the Republican 25 of the last 40 elections since becoming a state in 1859 and nine out of the last 18 elections.
