I haven't looked into this really at all, but I trust you, so what is the deal with this? Is there any particular reason why to buy Greenland? Do they want to be bought? I have really no opinion whatsoever on if this is "bad" or "good".
Its also not the first time Trump has thrown a bunch of shit on the wall so people dont see what they are standing in. So bad
I was just (ironically) referencing the below quote from the debates after I read that his idea of buying Greenland was immediately met with a response from Denmark, something like, and I'm paraphrasing: "Lol. Gtfo." “We’re going to win. We’re going to win so much. We’re going to win at trade, we’re going to win at the border. We’re going to win so much, you’re going to be so sick and tired of winning, you’re going to come to me and go ‘Please, please, we can’t win anymore.’ You’ve heard this one. You’ll say ‘Please, Mr. President, we beg you sir, we don’t want to win anymore. It’s too much. It’s not fair to everybody else.’ And I’m going to say ‘I’m sorry, but we’re going to keep winning, winning, winning, We’re going to make America great again.”
Which is a lovely historical anecdote but does not dispute the claim it is just a distraction gambit one bit...
