Yankees on a four game losing streak.....and about to take on the Los Angeles Dodgers...statistically
the best team in baseball. BaBoone is in over his head. He looked totally out of it during yesterday’s
    game. Must be the sedatives!

Normally I'd be at these games in Chavez Ravine, But~ I don't feel like jumping in the maddening fray of LA Freeways.
Or- iow's, I'm not up to crossing 10 lanes of Freeway at 75 mph, from the far left 6 lanes, to the far right lane in 1 mile, then crossing another 4 lanes of merging traffic from a 2nd Freeway in 1/2 a mile distance, then slamming on the brakes.

Not today, not tomorrow, not ever again.

Driving LA Freeways is for young bucks, not old fucks... :oldman:

Which Yankee pitcher will put an end to their losing streak? Will Paxton be the one? “The Big Maple”
came to the Yankees with a winning reputation for being a #1 pitcher. Somewhere between Seattle and
New York that reputation has gotten sidetracked. Let’s hope he’s able to track down these behemoths
    of Los Angeles tonight!

2019 Yankees: up by 8, 33 to play.
1964 Phillies: up by 6, 10 to play.
Phillies did not win a Pennant until 1980.

Ryu vs Paxton, no wonder the line is on LA. As a many year (64) Yankee Fan I hate the God Damn Dodgers. I am ashamed of what the Yankees must throw out there on the mound. Paxton will probably piss his pants out there tonight.

Just saw Boners comment about the Oakland series. "Its a long season and every once in a while you're gonna get punched in the mouth" . To tell the truth the Yankees got a huge Oakland Wenie butt plug. but hey, Biggie got to make a side trip to Vallejo and make sure all the kids got back packs for starting school. All purchased from his 8 million dollar yearly salary which has not been well earned.

It’s as if it ‘s to be expected to get swept & punched in the mouth by other teams. Since when has this
been the norm for New York Yankee teams? Either I am old & senile or I cannot recall a Yankee team
getting blasted by double digit figures and swept by opponents during their championship years. The
way management reacts to such outcomes makes me wretch. Rationalizing getting your ass kicked
is nowhere within the long, proud tradition of Yankee history.

What does Players Weekend do for the game? For me, it diminishes the game.

BaBoone just does not get it.....you bat your hottest hitters at the top of the batting order. Hey, Doofus
don’t you think it’s time to put Judge in the 6 or 7 spot? Oh, I’m sorry. You need Trashman to tell you
to make that move! It’s a shame you do not have a mind of your own.

If one Yankee pitcher had half the talent of Jacob deGrom.......maybe they’d have a better shot at a World
    Championship!

Lemahieu opens a game with a single.

These player day uniforms look fugly. Black on black? Judge wearing yellow batting gloves with goldish looking cleats. Judge strikes out as usual. I have never seen anyone with a bat that look like it was tagged with graffiti in the east LA Barrios. Judges bat looks just like that.

Juki follows up swinging out of ball I shit you not- a foot-and-a-half outside and bounced in the dirt before it got the home plate. WTF ???

GT is also wearing gold shoes kind of shit Auburn.
Sanchez follows with gold flames on his black.. but he goes down swinging about as bad as GT. Both Sanchez and lemahieu are wearing grey shoes go figure. There is no uniformity in these fugly uniforms again WTF

He has Orel Hershiser and whoever else is calling this game with him on SportsNet LA, are actually very fair in calling this game.

Neither appear to be homers for the home team. Both are showing great respect for each Yankee batter as well as the Big Maple. Hershiser is building up Paxton. Maybe the Big Maple needs to be transplanted in LA. But Maples don't grow too well out here send him to Toronto
