    Apparently not. The seller is not supposed to sell to such a person but who would know until the shit hit the fan.
    Here's what I found:
    "Private sales, which some estimates suggest account for 25 to 40 percent of all gun sales, are not subject to a federal background check in the United States. If the person selling the firearm knows the buyer cannot legally purchase or possess a firearm, they would be violating the law. But they are not required to find out if the person can possess a firearm and are not required to conduct a background check."

    Then ignore them.

    Deliberately distorting them and misquoting me reflects poorly on your posts.

    No, these lemmings are not the common man and woman. They are an aberration and a blight on humanity. They value likes on twitter and friend requests on Facebook over the safety and survival of their children and themselves. Rather than guide their children to safety or at least shield them from bullets with their body, they search for a better camera angle for their pointless video. No parental instinct, no nurturing instinct, no protective instinct, no instinct at all. Empty-headed, programmed bots of compliance and apathy. Waiting for the DNC to find another Hitler to tell them what to do.

    No leader can do much of anything if the citizens unite to revolt or oppose him/her.

    Hitler was able to murder 30-70 million people not because he had an AK-47 with a clip that held 100 million bullets, but because his countrymen and countrywomen were cowardly, intellectually lazy sheep with no culture of personal responsibility. Self-absorbed, narcissistic, greedy, void of any sense of morality, and every bit as evil as Hitler himself. His party platform was nearly identical to today's DNC platform, and the DNC's strategy is straight out of his playbook. The DNC's billionaire top donor is a former employee of Hitler, but he's nothing without these lemmings to do his bidding.

    Of course, no human is perfect. But I am amazed at how much good he has managed to accomplish for America's most downtrodden and abused citizens despite a wall of obstruction and hate from the Dems. Record-breaking social progress for a nation that had been coddling and encouraging discrimination, lawlessness and hate of fellow citizens. Restoring our economy while destroying those of our enemies. Ending reliance on other countries for energy. Providing job training and opportunities for ex-cons, mentally-challenged, vets, women, minorities to re-enter a society they have been excluded from for most of their lives.

    But...

    So far, he has completely failed at his promise to protect the Second Amendment and actually wasted 2 opportunities to nominate a SCOTUS who would defend it properly.

    I am hopeful his soon to come 3rd and 4th appointments will be people who actually share views with our founding fathers, putting an end once and for all to those who would attempt to disarm American citizens.

    Alzheimers does horrific things to the mind.

    Deep State puppet Reagan read the lines he was given, bringing havoc and corporate plunder to a nation already on it's heels.

    Ah, right the insult his intelligence tactic good look. The fact is you’re all over the place.

    Its either agree with you and your values or someone is a blight on humanity, or worse than Hitler. Its ironic, since you seem to hate conformists, but also have decided that those who dont conform to you are also the problem.

    It’s hate filled nonsense, its just as bad if not worse than the leftists who say that all conservatives are Fascists or Nazi’s. Its you saying that all the leftists are basically hitler, that they’re all evil and need to be wiped off the planet like a plague.

    No, he failed because of his criminal record. He was a bad person who refused to take personal responsibility for his failures in meeting life's challenges.

    Federal background checks do not include any sort of mental health assessment.

    Blaming parents for raising children who have mental health disabilities but failing to cure them is absurd. There is no cure for most mental illnesses, only treatment which has marginal success in some cases of voluntary acceptance. Mostly, it involves being heavily drugged to where the patient has little feeling of any emotion, is lethargic and confused, and unable to participate in society.

    Most poor people live off the grid, as do many of my clients for save the Earth reasons. It is economical and very normal.

    Ive always considered myself a moderate, that leaned conservative, and in many elections would have voted for R’s.
    I just want to throw this is out though. Im sick and tired of both sides in a lot of ways, but the mental gymnastics that to many on the right are playing to “keep” there guns, rah, rah 2nd amendment, to protect openly racist groups, to vilify literally every one who doesn't comply has gotten to the point I have a hard time associating with them. I believe conservative things have merits and arguments to be made both socially and fiscally, but you cant make good arguments when you’re spending all your time justifying crappy behavior.

    Republicans should be the 1st to be cleaning up their own house instead of worrying about trying to create more dirt for the DNC. Its nuts to me that all this conservative “values”, and yet those values are only meaningful when its vilifying the opposition, living out those values yourself nah no way. Im probably painting with a wide brush, but my goodness...

    I replied to this: Lol, just wow. Im dumbfounded at how ridiculous this post is.

    1. Who's insulting whose intelligence?

    2. The rest of your post insults everyone's intelligence by misquoting and misrepresenting my post, even though it is plain to see.

    3. Maybe if you put your 2 minds together you can construct a credible challenge to what I actually posted, most of which I gleaned from history books about the rise of the Third Reich, The Communist Party of China, and Lenin's Russian Communist Party.

    I spoke of your post, not of you. You told me I had to read books. One is an insult of the person, one is an insult of the ideas espoused in a post.

    Oh and # 3 hey good job trying to insult me again. You claim the DNC and all of its members are all Hitlers basically, I'm not the one making bogus claims you have to prove it not I.

    You claim that the DNC is running on the same platforms as Hitler did, they aren't, but again the onus is on you to prove your claims not on me to refute them.

    If all guns sales required background checks he wouldn't have been able to acquire one and shoot those people.

    Background checks for guns need to include mental health history.

    Private sellers should want to know who they are selling guns to. I am sure no one for the most part wants it on their conscience that they sold a gun to someone who ended up using it to execute a mass shooting.

    No its not. Parents have the absolute responsibility to keep their mentally defective children regulated. If it involves them being heavily drugged and unable to participate in society, well, it beats the shit out of having them commit mass shootings. Not everyone is cut out to be a functioning member of society.

    Since the parents often fail, we need a regulatory board to determine who are these psychos and get them out of society before they do their crimes.

    The next revolution. They need to study these shooters to determine predicative patterns.

    I'm going to challenge your assertion. Everybody has a mental problem of some degree or another. Even psychiatrists go through some treatment as part of their training.
    A long time ago I presented a study that showed four main characteristics of highly successful people:
    1. Life long exercise, preferably aerobic;
    2. Mentoring others and it can't be something along your professional background. It must be purely voluntary;
    3. A spiritual awareness which for me is both religious and scientific. The religious aspect is something that I gained from my religious schooling in my youth which just feels both right and good. It also stems from my attempts to grasp the concept of infinity which just blows my mind to the point where I feel my head spinning and I have to take a break and go watch an episode of The Three Stooges;
    4. A life long pursuit of improving one's mental health.

    Note item 4.
