Did anyone else pick it up? Very similar to NBA2K19. Not much has changed. Still a fun game though.

I bought it for PS4 and Switch. Feels different to me, shooting is improved, players movement feels a bit laggy though. NS version feels more fluid too, I like how they have gradually improved it since 2018 on that platform to make 30 FPS feel less noticeable.

First year I think Im not even gonna bother playing. I may buy it because I collect games, but 2k has gotten to be crazy with those micro transactions and it gets old paying for the game and then needing to pay a bunch more money to be worth while in MyTeam, or MyPlayer, which are the modes I enjoy.

For the record I hope the ones who get it and play enjoy it! Just kind of done with the VC grind.

Whiteside has a higher rating than Nurkic in this game.

I got some updated rosters for 2k19, I think that's good enough for me after hearing about how shitty 20 is.

How can you complain about micro transactions if you love the gambling for 10 year olds mode of 2K?

I have always enjoyed Ultimate team, and team building type games, the concept of building teams with old and new players is fun for me. I guess thats how... I dont like the micro transactions open packs and RNG part of it.

    I like team building...?

I like the gameplay after I got used to it. Shooting definitely feels much better and natural. Player movement still doesn’t feel right though, a bit laggy. I am still going to spend hundreds of hours playing though.

As per usual I cannot find the right difficulty. All-Star is a little too easy, Superstar a little too difficult. I am closer to All-Star at this point though so play first half on All-Star and if I am up by 5 points or more at half, I switch to Superstar for the second half and only revert back to All-Star if I go behind 5 or more inside fourth quarter. Seems good.

Nope. Will trade Whiteside for him when Nurkic is back. Though I am also considering Gallinari and Gordon as my power forward plans.

I bumped Simons up to 75 and improved his shooting to 85. Very fun player.

I have saves with Clippers and Pelicans too. It’s funny how they downgrade player ratings with Intangibles which mean nothing. I gave Zion 85 intangibles and he goes from 81 to 85 without any changes in other skills. I had to bump up Hayes (his athleticism was very average compared to real world) and Alexander-Walker (was only 73), plus gave Ball and Ingram small boosts. Pels are a very fun team, so are Clippers and their new court is ace.

    Fun new article:
NBA2K20 Ratings For The Trail Blazers' All-Time Roster

    upload_2019-9-16_13-36-46.png

    Here's my all-time Blazer list:
    1. C Drexler (525)
    2. B Walton (419)
    3. D Lillard (361)
    4. L Aldridge (285)
    5. T Porter (254)
    6. J Kersey (207)
    7. M Lucas (197)
    8. R Wallace (195)
    9. J Paxson (189)
    10. C Robinson (185)
    11. B Roy (183)
    12. A Sabonis (170)
    13. B Williams (148)
    14. M Thompson (137)
    15. B Gross (133)
    23. CJ McCollum (119)
    35. J Nurkic (83)

This list is always very subjective. So, being an engineer, I put my analysis into a quantifiable equation:
    Rating = (WS) + (PER x 3) + (Playoff Games x PER/20) + (Blazer Career Top-10) + (All-Star appearances x 10) + (All-NBA 3rd team x 15) + (All-NBA 2nd team x 25) + (All-NBA 1st Team x 50) + (NBA MVP x 150) + (NBA Championship x PER x 2.5)

All stats are while playing for the Blazers.
    WS=Win Share
Blazer Career Top-10 is measured 1 pt per rank (10th place = 1 pt, 1st place = 10 pts), Pts, Rbs, Ast, Stl, Blk.
    All Stats referenced from BasketballReference.com.

Weird to put objective stats and add subjective weights to them. Man I wish Bill Walton was healthy and in Portland longer. Nice analysis BTW. :)
