Walter Mondale drew large crowds and how did he do in the general election? Mitt Romney drew large crowds. Nixon drew large crowds when he ran against Kennedy. Hubert Humphrey drew large crowds. John drew large crowds when he ran for President. Barry Goldwater drew large crowds. I wouldn't bet on the success of a candidate just because he drew large crowds.
As previously mentioned, I'm seeing similarities to the summer/fall of 2016. As and aside, if the Dow hits 30,000, I think he's a lock. We shall see.
If they would have run someone that was a decent candidate and not feel so entitled, at any cost, things could be different. Karma eventually catches up with everyone.
