I'll be honest, I'm a bit surprised as busy as he is. But Curry is going too, maybe they talked about it with each other.

Yes they will. This will obviously start a chain reaction of the upper level players wanting to join them.

I would hope that J Colangelo doesnt blackball Dame? There is a reason that he said he "won't forget" and someone is going to get his judgement.

If they're in together and both hitting shots, imagine the defense trying to guard two guys out to mid-court.

If Harden plans to play, i'm afraid Dame will come of the bench, if not he should build the backcourt with Steph. Hopefully we see some Dame Time in Olympia

It's pretty much at the core of the Olympics. If it weren't for national teams and national pride, it would just be a big international sports meet with a bunch of athletes you've never heard of and don't give a rip about.

I really give zero fucks about the olympics.

Most of the sports are super lame. I really can't believe people spend time watching people swim or dive or do archery.

Most of the athletes I never heard of anyway and I'd rather see them in a professional sports league or competition anyways.

I probably watched 10 minutes of the last olympics, if that.

Kemba is prolly guaranteed a spot because he didnt bow out of the WC, and Steph has tenure. Same with Kyrie if he decides to go.

Wonder if Dame actually makes the team, tbh.

why? I didn't even mention Lowry or Mitchell who also have more tenure with the team than Dame. It's nice that he wants a gold medal, but he hasn't put in the commitment (whether by his choice or otherwise) that other guards have. Just merit alone might not get him in.

Good points, but I just can't see them not having Dolla on the squad.

Does adidas have much pull with the national team? If so, his global ambassador status might get Dame more traction for making an Olympic squad, which is the pinnacle of global marketing.
