this is a lot better. https://www.nba.com/blazers/video/t...3/1570413573871-fan-fest-highlights-1-2828753
I don't see why not....eye of the beholder. 9 boards in that short time span is production. He wasn't going up against Nurk or Hassan or Pau so it's not like the pressure was that high but if a guy crashes the glass...I'll cheer.
We're talking about Grant Williams of the Celtics. It has nothing to do with knowledge. If you're going to post a preseason boxscore saying someone is good you just might want to make sure it actually looks good but I'm sure that +14 got you.
That's irrelevant to my post though....if someone sees someone in preseason and likes their game, good on em. Doesn't matter how they get there. I just saw highlights of the games myself but if someone points a player out...no problem. I've learned about so many players from Rasta's posts over the years that I welcome his input...he's my go to read for Euro players every season. I'm also a guy who thought Victor Claver was going to be a Blazer rotation player for years his first season.
In order to have the correct amount of elapsed time, the first prerequisite is for time to have started to elapse in the first place. Currently no time has elapsed given that the regular season hasn't started.
Yeah I dont know how 9 rebounds alone in 18 minutes of pre-season means somebody "looks good", but I saw multiple people posting about how good Hoard looked in Fan-Fest so . And by that standard, Swanigan is a great looking NBA player.
People who enjoy watching the game can focus on positive aspects or negative aspects...both are choices, neither is wrong. I watched Chief put up 9/5/4 in limited time in the first Orlando preseason game and thought he looked pretty good...especially on defense. Stats wouldn't wow most critics but he played well.
Did they move it to the MC knowing they're drawing smaller crowds now? Last time I attended, about 8 or 9 years ago and I had to sit in the nose bleed section of the Rose Garden. It was fairly packed. From the videos it looks like they filled out the lower bowl at least. Maybe it's been trending this way for awhile.
