Joe Burrow makes history as No. 5 LSU routs Utah State

Joe Burrow didn't sound too impressed with his latest historically significant performance for unbeaten LSU.

Burrow became the first LSU quarterback to eclipse 300 yards passing in four straight games and threw for five touchdowns to help the fifth-ranked Tigers defeat Utah State 42-6 on Saturday.

Joe Burrow's 3 TDs lift No. 5 LSU over No. 7 Florida 42-28

The first thing Joe Burrow did after launching the longest -- and most decisive -- of his three touchdown passes against Florida was embrace a pair of offensive linemen who'd kept pass-rushers at bay all night.

Then the Tigers quarterback skipped toward the jubilant LSU bench area, fist-pumping all the way.

Burrow passed for 293 yards and led fifth-ranked LSU to three unanswered touchdowns after the Tigers had fallen behind early in the second half to emerge with a 42-28 victory over No. 7 Florida on Saturday night.

Joe Burrow throws 4 TDs passes, No. 2 LSU routs MSU 36-13

Joe Burrow didn't necessarily show his best side Saturday. While being dragged to the ground by his pants during his third sack of the game, the LSU quarterback's rear end was briefly exposed.

"I heard there was supposed to be a full moon in Starkville tonight," Burrow joked.

The rest of his performance was anything but obscene. Burrow threw for 327 yards and four touchdowns to break the LSU season record with 29 in the No. 2 Tigers' 36-13 victory over Mississippi Stat

Swift runs for 2 TDs as No. 10 Georgia tops Kentucky 21-0

D'Andre Swift began the week asking Georgia coaches to get the ball to the team's playmakers in space.

Swift finished the week showing what he can do with those opportunities.

Swift's 39-yard touchdown run in the third quarter snapped a scoreless tie, and No. 10 Georgia overcame a slow start to beat Kentucky 21-0 on Saturday night.

No. 9 Florida bounces back with 38-27 win over Gamecocks

For three quarters, Kyle Trask saw the overthrows and ineffective runs, the penalties and missed assignments. He knew something had to change.

    It finally did.

Trask threw three of his career-high four touchdowns in the final period Saturday to rally the No. 9 Gators to a 38-27 win at South Carolina.

    Burrow's 321 yards helps No. 2 LSU down No. 9 Auburn, 23-20

Joe Burrow bounced up immediately from a high-speed hit that looked like it could have given the LSU quarterback whiplash as he was sent crashing into the Auburn bench area.

Trotting resolutely back to the line of scrimmage, Burrow resumed his school-record eighth career 300-yard passing performance in a tense, top-10 clash that put a premium on grit and perseverance.

Burrow passed for 321 yards and a touchdown, ran for 47 yards and another score, and second-ranked LSU edged No. 9 Auburn 23-20 on Saturday.

Trask's career day lifts No. 10 Florida over Vandy, 56-0

Kyle Trask didn't really know what to call his first touchdown pass of the day.

He thought about it for a few seconds before settling on "kind of a free throw shot." If so, his last two scores were breakaways dunks.

Trask threw for a career-high 363 yards and three touchdowns -- the best passing performance by a Florida quarterback since Tim Tebow's college finale -- and the 10th-ranked Gato

No. 6 Georgia rides tough defense to 27-0 win over Missouri

Georgia's defense didn't settle for just beating Missouri.

The Bulldogs added to their growing collection of shutouts with a late goal-line stand.

Jake Fromm threw two touchdown passes to George Pickens and No. 6 Georgia posted its third shutout, dominating a Missouri offense missing two of its biggest playmakers in a 27-0 victory Saturday night.

Burrow throws 5 TDs, No. 1 LSU beats Mississippi 58-37

Joe Burrow’s postgame shrug pretty much summed up what kind of a season it has been for LSU.

“You know things have changed at LSU when you have 700 yards of total offense and everybody is upset in the locker room,” the Heisman Trophy front-runner said.

Burrow threw for a career-best 489 yards and five touchdowns as top-ranked Tigers built a big lead and held off Mississippi 58-37 on Saturday night.

Georgia holds off Auburn to clinch third straight SEC East title

Georgia's defense entered the fourth quarter vying for another shutout. The fourth-ranked Bulldogs ended it with two big stops -- and another division title.

    In between, things got interesting.

Jake Fromm passed for three touchdowns and Georgia's defense delivered in the clutch, clinching the Southeastern Conference Eastern Division with a 21-14 victory over No. 12 Auburn on Saturday.

No. 1 LSU down Arkansas 56-20, books SEC title game berth

LSU coaches called one last play for running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire in hopes of getting him his fourth-straight 100-yard game.

Perhaps it was only fitting that Edwards-Helaire, who needed just a yard, would break loose for a career-long 89-yard touchdown run. The top-ranked Tigers' new spread offense has been producing explosive plays all season -- a big reason why they've booked a trip to the Southeastern Conference title game for the first time since 2011.

Joe Burrow passed for 327 yards and three touchdowns, Edwards-Helaire rushed for a career-high 188 yards and three TDs and No. 1 LSU remained unbeaten with a 56-20 victory over reeling Arkansas on Saturday night.

Defense shines, No. 4 Georgia prevails 19-13 vs Texas A&M

No. 4 Georgia is still on course to make a run at the College Football Playoff.

    No thanks to the offense.

The No. 4 Bulldogs managed only one touchdown Saturday, but Rodrigo Blankenship booted four field goals and the defense stymied 24th-ranked Texas A&M for a lackluster 19-13 victory.

No. 16 Auburn upends No. 5 Alabama's playoff hopes, 48-45

Shaun Shivers scored on an 11-yard run with 8:08 left to put No. 16 Auburn ahead and another failed field goal by Alabama in the Iron Bowl wiped away the fifth-ranked Crimson Tide's playoff hopes in a wild 48-45 victory for the Tigers on Saturday.

No. 4 Georgia closes regular season with 52-7 rout of Tech

This trip to Atlanta was barely an annoyance for No. 4 Georgia.

The Bulldogs are really focused on their return to the A-T-L next weekend.

Jake Fromm threw four touchdown passes and Georgia cruised into the Southeastern Conference championship game with a 52-7 victory over Georgia Tech on Saturday -- the Bulldogs' biggest win ever against their state rival.
