I used to know every fighter, their fighting styles, and who the up and comers are. Any more I just know the big names. I found out this Gregor Gillespie guy has enough wins under his belt to call for a title fight should he win on Saturday. I have never even heard of the guy before today.
Corey Anderson had a severely swollen knuckle on media day. As if it wasn't going to be hard enough fighting Johnny Walker...

High quality card last night. Hope it did well. I jumped in at Anderson vs. Walker. Wow. Anderson with some deep fuck you attitude at the end of the fight and the official result. Walker, ironically, showed class in defeat by not reacting. Kevin Lee's KO of Gregor Gillespie is on the same level as Rashad Evans vs. Sean Salmon but Gillespie wasn't a can. Fabulous KO. Derrick Lewis throws some of the hardest punches in MMA but doesn't do much else. Blagoy Ivanov is the Homer Simpson of the HW division. Stephen Thompson dismantled Vincente Luque. Awesome performance. Thompson mixing pressure with counter striking is a sight to behold. Hopefully he keeps fighting like this. Till vs. Gastelum was kind of whatever. Jorge Masvidal pieced up and owned Nate Diaz. Can't help but wonder if Diaz's inactivity is a problem.
