Or maybe: Aaron Gordon. He's being paid a LOT and is not helping Orlando much which is both the reason that he'd be available AND why we shouldn't trade for him.
My fave choice: Tristan Thompson. He's a new man this season (contract year), but Cleveland would want something of value rather than just an expiring contract, because HE'S an expiring contract.
In what sport would 2/5 of a season plus reconditioning and preparation drills not be a significant amount of time? This is if everything goes well?
Not sure if this was posted earlier in the thread but here are a bunch of NBA should dislocations: http://instreetclothes.com/2015/04/26/breaking-down-kevin-loves-dislocated-shoulder/ Some more detail about the injury: http://instreetclothes.com/2016/01/16/examining-joakim-noahs-shoulder-injury/
Trend that we see, most guys who dislocated their off arms (left shoulder for rightys) missed fewer games than guys who missed their primary arms. (Elliot Williams was a lefty if i remember).
Without looking it up aren't some of those misleading because if they got hurt near the end of a season they wouldn't miss that many games? Or are those just people who came back that same season?
Ah shit good call. Bradley/Kanter/Wade all had season ending ones but near the ends of their respective season. Brief search says about 5-6 months recovery. ugh
I already posted something from the CBS NBA injury report and he was listed out to at least Jan 1. Of course that can always be modified more or less as recovery begins to happen after his surgery.
I think there is some major misleading bullshit in that list I started by wondering about Bradley and Kanter supposedly only missing 10 games after surgery. Big problem with that 'assertion'. Both players had surgery at the tail end or after the season. Kanter had surgery on April 11 and missed the last 10 games of the season. Then didn't have his first game back for over 6 months. Bradley injured his shoulder at the end of the 2012 season, missed 10 games, had surgery in July, and didn't play a game till the following January, nearly 6 months later I'm not going to play detective any more but those two examples of bad info make me skeptical of the rest of the list
I didn't see the discussion because I was typing the post and got a 20 minute phone call in the middle of typing I had to take...before finishing the post
