No, probably not. But let’s see where he goes from here. The kid is looking extremely good at the moment. He may be the steal of the draft.
Well Draymond played 13.4 minutes per game over 79 games his rookie year and 21.9 minutes per game playing all 82 games his 2nd year. So when you make comments like this it kind of ruins your objectivity: "You’ve got to be joking. Paschall would be starting for the Blazers right now and getting 30+ minutes a night. He is much better than Collins or Hood."
Yeah kind of a crazy statement. Not sure Paschall would be starting on the Blazers if they have a healthy Collins? Would love to have him right now though.
Completely agree with you there. He'd be great to have on the roster. I just doubt Terry would be playing him meaningful minutes this year. I'd also be curious in an alternate universe where GS is completely healthy just how much of an opportunity Paschall would even be getting right now.
John Collins wouldn't have the numbers he has in Atlanta playing alongside CJ and Dame and plus isn't suspended for PED for 20 games.
How many minutes Green played as a rookie proves nothing. Maybe it took Green longer to get his footing in the league. Maybe there were much better players ahead of him. Maybe his coach didn’t like playing rookies. In Paschall’s case, it’s pretty clear that he’s already better than our starting forwards. Just look at his numbers over the last three games. The kid is still learning, and yet he’s done things that Collins has never done in two years in the league.
That’s easy. He’d be getting almost no time. But right now he is getting the time, and he’s showing that he’s damn good!
As often as it felt like Jannero Pargo lit up the Blazers whenever he played against them. Certainly feels like he was better than Lillard too.
Well, I’d take Paschall 8 days of the week. He’s going to be a star in this league, while Zach is always going to be a journeyman.
