Pretty good game so far. Second half should be fun.

Big win for the Raiders...but damn, they sure made it look harder than it should have been because of senseless penalties at the worst possible time which wiped out some very big plays...flagged for "lining up in the neutral zone" 4 freaking times?...seriously?

Also some odd and questionable play calling. Raiders should have won that game by 2 TD instead of 2 points.

Phillip Rivers looks done. Just chucking balls up for grabs now. He always had an odd throwing motion but his arm is shot. Seriously looks like what I had been seeing with Eli. Their loss last night is on him.

The Raiders have to win every home game. It's their last season in Cali. IMG_2466.JPG I wonder if all the eccentric Vegas and Reno people will attend their games.

He's definitely not as young as he once was...but he's still leading the NFL in passing yards but for whatever reason last night the Raiders actually showed a pass rush for a change and when they weren't sacking him or knocking him down they were harassing him most of the time and because of that the Raiders secondary was made to look much better than they are.

They will probably have to go 5-2 in their last 7 games which would leave them at 10-6. After having the toughest schedule during the first half including 6 straight weeks away from home, they now have one of the easier 2nd half schedules....Bengals, at Jets, at Chiefs, Titans, Jags, at Chargers, at Broncos with the Chiefs as the only one of those teams who currently have a winning record.

So making it to the PS is doable for the Raiders but they really need to play well in the games they have left...I'd like to see them blitz more in passing situations and on offense I'd like to see them pass on 1st down more often. The Raiders had a great draft and 5-6 of those picks have been impressive thus far and appear to be the real deal and should be around for many more years. Josh Jacobs may end up as the ROY.
