This was posted in another thread, but I think this is amazing! So deserves multiple threads. Such an awesome accomplishment.
Im so happy womens sports is starting to get in the news more and gain traction. It’s just feelings, but Id love to see women’s sports start to bring in more money, and for a lack of a better term gain more mainstream relevance.
the attendance was 11,530. https://www.oregonlive.com/ducks/20...basketball-to-stunning-upset-of-team-usa.html
I think it's pretty awesome, especially given the lack of losses the national team has had historically. Bodes well for their season, that's for sure.
if the NCAA would get off of their fat asses and rule of the eligibility of Sedonna Prince, that could bode even weller...est?...er
https://highposthoops.com/2019/07/06/sedona-prince-transfer-oregon/ a lot of people were thinking she'd get the waiver. But apparently, the NCAA has the applications for 5 women in the same boat as Sedonna, and hasn't ruled on a single one yet.
Not to be, “that” dude, but I really wonder if it was male Basketball or Football player how long it’d take...
Oregon's WBB has sold over 7,000 season tickets this year. To be able to purchase a ticket for quality team basketball, with great coaching, and high character players for $7.50 a ticket, sitting lower bowl on the sideline is incredible value. I really hope more people are open to giving college WBB a chance; if the come in with an open mind they'll leave impressed. I was.
