(Didn't know where to put it, so pls modes, move it to OT if you want.)

I've got this crazy idea. We all agree, that injuries are not good thing, but maybe - because of Terry Stotts - there are some silver linings to this.
I mean with Nurk and Zach out, Stotts kinda need to go small and that gives more minutes to Ant. With this injuries plague Sotts can't go for his normal behaviour and just "Vonleh" players on the bench. He actually needs to play Skal ans Little and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't sniff the floor under normal circumstatces. So suddenly our youngsters have to play and players, that came here for bench have to contribute more than it was expected.
It could lead to the situation, when, after Collins and Nurk comeback, more players will be ready to contribute in the playoffs.
Let those youngsters fight their way to the playoffs and stop playing Lillard and CJ 50 mins a game. There is no point to ride on Lillard's back while Khawi is resting every second game.
    Just a thought.

Certainly possible, and I agree he is playing some guys because his hands have been forced. We will see how it goes, with everyone healthy I’d presume that most guys will go back to the bench but at least it helps them out down the road.

Dame playing close to 40 mins a night is a necessity at the moment. We needed every one of his 60 the other night and we still lost.

No guarantee that we make the playoffs without the extensive load.

This team is a dumpster fire without Dame on the floor. Literally.

Either "dumster without a fire" will take us to the playoffs, or Dame will be barely walking till then.

I understand the notion that people want to transmit when they say "Vonleh" but seriously Vonleh had every chance in the world to make a huge impact. He didn't and he has not. Even now he only gets just over 13 mins and is giving 4 and 4 a game. 7th year in the league. It's not Stotts fault Noah was not producing. Vonleh is not a starter on any team. Unless you count his single year with the Knicks but when do they count?

speaking of Vonleh, I wonder if minny would hand him to us for Tolliver or some shit. We could use a plus rebounder and defender hehehehe

I think there was tone of disscusion if Vonleh "had every chance" and it's offtopic anyway. What I refer to is Stotts poor roster menagment all together and that those injuries can help us in long run.

Thus is why i said.... "I understand the notion that people want to transmit....." I feel Stotts was not using "Poor roster management" at all. He was focused on giving Vonleh a look. He didn't pan out. Lets take it a step further. He is giving players minutes as they are available now also. He must do that and keep the team in some sort of resemblance of a competitive position. I agree injuries will make that easier. But if he had Collins and Nurk and Whiteside and Hood and Gasol all healthy i would also assume those minutes would be tougher to come by. Simons might get some minutes just as he has all season but i would guess Skal would see less and Little might not get off the bench.

The only counter I'll say about Vonleh is that his best stretch as a Blazer was quietly during Nurk Fever. It seemed like he was settling into his role and then Nurk got hurt and Vonleh wasn't really given a chance the next year (if I remember correctly Vonleh had an injury at the beginning of that following season). He was okay on NY last year but he seems like a role player at best. I'd like him as a stop gap for Collins because he plays fairly similar within the team structure but that's pretty unlikely.
