its always funny, you read this article and in the end it goes like this: we might have snow, 2000 feet, maybe lower, maybe valley floor, maybe on thanksgiving, maybe after, but it'll be wet in november and december, nothing unusual, just what is normal, it'll be like what we usually have but who knows.
If I didn't like water I sure wouldn't have made my home here....bring it on! I've got firewood in the barn for the whole winter and the roof doesn't leak! The rain just means I'll start reading more books from the library again!
and your point is? No offense to the weathermen as it's a tough job predicting the forecast, especially that far out, but they have been wrong many more times on long term predictions than they have been right.
It's going to rain 0.15" on January 17th with a high of 52 and a low of 39. Winds will be calm in the morning, increasing to 4mph in the afternoon. Traffic will be lighter than normal, except on 205, where a car fire will slow the southbound lanes just past Glisan between 3:30 and 4:30. A man living on Holgate near 26th will post signs in the neighborhood about his lost dog, which will in fact be at the Humane Society after being picked up running loose in the street. A child in Ms. Montgomery's 2nd grade class will pick his nose at 11am and eat the booger. barfo
I miss the winter storms at the beach. Me and my mom used to drive down to Lincoln City to my grandmas house when there was supposed to be a big storm. The excuse was to keep an eye on grandma in case the power went out (it always did) but we actually just enjoyed the chaos. We’d walk down to the beach and try not to get blown over, or drive down to Depoe Bay and watch the waves crash.
