Had the same thought. With Nassir playing like this (and find his shot in time) there's no need for reaching for Draymond. Now, Collins, Simmons and Little - they will own this league. I think Nassir is this unicorn that makes team better. He as Rodman and Collins as Laimbeer.

Sorry but I just threw up in my mouth a bit thinking about trading Collins for Aldridge. Hell nah.

I don't understand, I thought Little would crumble under pressure if we played him in the 4th ?????

Blazers do seem to have a knack for improving players’ FT percentages. Nurk & Aminu & hopefully HW. Maybe Moses Brown too someday cuz he’s sub 40%.

Last night I saw Dennis Rodman playing for Portland. Bright futures for Simons and Nassir - would not entertain trading either

I mentally ruled out playoffs after a few games. With the Tolliver, Hezonja path we started on we were a low possibly even sub 30’s win team. Even with Little looking promising, we still are playing god-awful Hezonja, so I don’t expect 41 wins unless Little really pans out and we get Simons more involved than he is.

You got to look at the players too. It like it was the plan going in to have player and ball movement and the plan was was working until some our players decide to go back the old way doing that's not successful. I blamed it on the coach for not calling timeout and get on them about it but I also blame on CJ and Dame for not sticking with the plan. Due they are the leaders and due they got the ball in there hands majority of the time. They must get the ball to Hood because he also a player that when he gets rolling he by keep us in the game. Dame and CJ and the coach must regonize who has the hot hand. Especially when CJ and Dame has bad shooting night like Dame had last night. They also had Whiteside going to on the offense too. He doesn't have to be CJ and Dame lead us in scoring every night there couple other player can get rolling too.

Not so sure about this? Dame and CJ get you 40 wins. So 41 doesn't really seem like a stretch. I guess we will see how much the west beats up on itself this year?

If we could stop playing Hezonja altogether I could see us approaching 41 wins. But too me there is no point in focusing on WL record this year cuz we aren’t making the playoffs. Roll the dice with Brown & Hoard. Ya never know.

Yeah there was about 3 years Rodman AVERAGED over 18 rebounds a game. He did that scoring about 10 points.
Seeing a 10-20 with 4 assists was very possible. There was also a couple years he averaged around 40 mins a game.
Those numbers are crazy! If Little begins to be consistently half that the Blazers have a huge bonus.
Difference is the game has changed since the early 90's. Playing like that would foul him out. But who knows? Maybe he can be one of those players that everyone expects to be dangerous so refs start to accept he is gonna just be Little. Draymond gets that treatment. Refs just say "That's Green being Green".
Could Little become the player the entire league loves to hate? Rodman was. Green is. But i don't see it in Little. Lets hope i'm wrong here because i have been saying for a long time that the Blazers need a little "Nasty" in their game. Every great team seems to have a guy everyone hates. From Artest, Rodman, Green to Lambier to even Maurice Lucas was not liked. Joel Pryzbilla was pretty much the last real enforcer the Blazers have had. "Meet Me Outside".....

I just dont get this mentality. Its NOVEMBER, and you’ve already decided they cant make the playoffs? Whiteside missed a bunch of camp with ankle injuries, Pau’s out. Zach out, Nurks out, a ton of new faces, and injuries getting guys in out of the line up. A hard schedule they havent even had a “home stand” yet. They still have Dame, its started rough for them before and theyve figured it out. Just seems like giving up on the season is way premature.

Last year about this time Memphis was near the top of the conference. They’re 13 games into the season? 5.5 GB from 1st I think they have time to make up some games...

You just keep saying that and maybe someone will believe you. At this point way too many of us know better. The record is 5-8. If you think you know where this season is going yet then have at it. Me i'll wait and see where they are in January.

He's sitting here blaming the entire start of the season on a guy that was never supposed to be anything but a bench warmer.

Even more so Mario signed a 2 year $ 3.6 million contract. We end up with a cap hit of 1.7 this year. Mario was never supposed to be in a starting position.
