Im not going to quote a bunch of posts, but im just gonna say this because I didnt see it mentioned.

The whole LEAGUE should be onto achilles soreness and take it seriously. Did no one watch the Kevin Durant debacle last playoffs????

I mean if that wasn't a shout out to the NBA world that you do not fuck with achilles soreness, I don't know what is....

Dude should have had every single test known to man done before playing again, and I don't think they could do all those tests and have solid results to make a decision, in the time frame that ensued.

    Someone dropped the ball.

I was pissed that we played Rodney. Here's my postgame reaction for those who are interested, the video will start at the start of my rant about it. I was pretty heated, never needed a pop filter for any segment more than this one haha.

As with everything else in life you missed the point. This wasn't the series clinching race. This was a preliminary nothing race. They sent an iffy guy out there for nothing.

If Hood plays the whole game they lose by 10 and that is a win for you?

What about 10 years from now? Rodney can look back at the millions he lost and know that he risked it all to get dunked on by AD in a loss if he was lucky? Good one.

One more thing. Playing Rodney was only slightly less stupid than an idiot with a running properly Northstar powered Cadillac not pawning it off on some unsuspecting sucker before the head bolts fail. You have to be a total moron to keep one of those cars when you could sell it as is.

I think your car analogy is pretty good and interesting. All analogies end up breaking down but the parts that matter here seem to drive (heh) your point home well.

    124,500 miles and going strong.

$106 oil changes? Meh. Money pit? No no.....it only needs new ABS wheel speed sensors, the parking brake fixed, a new antennae, and new sway bars. And possibly a rear wheel bearing.

Almost $1,000 spent on it in the past two months? Fake news I tell you!

Totally reliable. You're just jealous that you can't sit surrounded by luxurious, cushy, awesome-smelling leather.

I'll sell it to you for $4,000.

I thought of you when I posted that but had to anyway. Sell that thing ASAP.
It looks nice. The front end color looks off a tad but pics can trick me.

That does look like a nicer neighborhood than the ghetto I remember seeing in the last Caddy photo I saw here.

Yes, I know, lol. I figured "Moron" followed by "Northstar Cadillac" was aimed at me.

The front end paint is fine; it's just a trick of the light.

Not sure you would classify this place as a "ghetto", but it's certainly not high end. Built in 1985 with low-income folks, but certainly not MLK Blvd or Rosa Parks Avenue-levels of poverty. I've been to and lived in far worse places than this.

In as far as the car, I've been looking at other ones $8,000 and less. Wouldn't mind a used Toyota 4Runner SR5 4x4.

Sorry for the thread hijack, btw.

U wrong dummy. Don't recall anyone else bragging about his kid's white caddy being the nicest in town?

Neighborhood looks nice. Built in 85 doesn't mean crappy.

I'm looking at one right now, a 2003 4.7 liter V8 with 222,000 miles on it for $6,900. I might make a move....

What I would REALLY like to have is a 1995-2002 Ford F350 LB with a 7.3 liter Powerstroke diesel. But those are WAAAYYY outside my price range. God those things hold their value VERY well.

The govt is cracking down on the rolling coal dou/$bags. Expect any good diesel to hold value. I rode in one of those with a Banks upgrade of some sort years ago and it pulled like a train.

    Thank you!

As he squinted his eyes shut, he often quickly turned his back to protect his groin, and bent his waist into a crouching position.

5 years ago I would say this, and posters thought I was making it up. Why would they think that! I never lie! (It was true. He did it all, a couple of times every game. I guess no one else here watched him closely enough.)

So I came up with the contact lens theory to explain the red-eye crying look. Nobody believed me again! My pearls of wisdom are ignored.

    Here's the good news:

Hood was the least important starter. He was 4th in the league in 3-point % like Curry last season...and contributed about the same, i.e. nothing in clutch minutes determining the win. He wasn't a volume shooter making us win or lose. And he wasn't a clutch Microwave shooter, either off the dribble or catch and shoot.

Losing one of the other 4 starters would affect the team a lot more.

And I think the fans deserve to know what was done or not done. Olshey owes that to us. We need some transparency.

I have the 2000 F350 with that 7.3 powerstroke. Bought it new. I use it for pulling our small 5th wheel and exploring the back country of Eastern Oregon, mostly. Only has 65,000 miles. I replaced the standard fuel tank with a large one....77 gallons. I wanted to have range and not worry about fueling up while towing. I also replaced the standard bed with a service bed to add lots of storage boxes. I haven't had a single issue with it except replacing the batteries. Now, C-Type 16 ply tires are expensive; last summer I bought a new set of Toyo's and it was $1400. But you really need dependable tires for those gravel and 4X4 roads

it doesn't get the 'supposed' mileage of the 6.2 powerstroke. When towing the 5th wheel up & over the pass and beyond, I get about 11-12 mpg. Unloaded, about 14-17 depending on where and how I'm driving.

I'm planning on having that truck till I keel over. Love it
