    Is there a difference between a yellow lab and a golden retriever?

    Yes--golden retrievers are a different breed than labradors, of which there are multiple varieties (black, chocolate, yellow). Golden retrievers generally have much longer fur than labradors, and (from my experience) usually have narrower snouts.
