We can't rely on the voters with Trump in control of the elections!!!

I just heard him on TV. Can't find a quote to give you. Geez! Is this real????

My take is, the dems are not too happy. Perhaps it is the can of worms they opened.

Watching the hearings is like watching the entire Dem party in the carnival dunk tank, or being pelted en-masse with cream pies. Stammering Nadler is shell-shocked at how bad it's going for him. He looks like Hillary did after Trump beat her. Here's a clown who's career just ended.

Dem Congressman Cedric Richmond appears to be watching golf on laptop during impeachment debate
By Joseph A. Wulfsohn | Fox News

Rep. Cedric Richmond, D-La., may have been distracted on Thursday during the marathon impeachment hearing focused on President Trump.

Richmond appeared to have been watching a golf tournament on his laptop during a procedural roll call, which aired in full-view on CNN.

"What on earth is Democrat Rep. Cedric Richmond watching on his laptop during this impeachment markup?" GOP rapid response director Steve Guest asked. "To me, it looks like Rep. Richmond is watching the President’s Cup golf tournament. Richmond’s actions are a DISGRACE."

    Guest added the hashtag, "#StopTheMaddess."

Others slammed the Louisiana congressman for entertaining himself amid the impeachment debate. Republicans in particular mocked Democrats for their not-so "solemn" treatment of impeachment.

You think the Senate Republican majority will turn on him? It’s going to take 2/3 of the senate to remove him, it’s a long shot any way you look at it.

I said he'd be "impeached"...I've already said that removal from office is a long shot at best.

So it is and ignorant self serving effort by the dems. A rather dumb ass way the represent their people that look to them for leadership I would say.
What the hell is the point?

    Pretty obvious what they're doing.

They've been living the high life for decades doing nothing but playing dress up to distract from the war machine. Trump comes along having been born rich and pulling some shady shit along the way to stay rich he wants to join the club.

He's like Rodney Dangerfield in Caddyshack.

They want that fucker gone yesterday because he shines a light on their corruption. We are lucky to have him. Nobody with a clean background could have ever made it this far in the first place.

What the career politicians want is for you to be smart about your corruption like Obama was. Schiff didn't compare Trump to a mob boss by mistake. He just left out the part that he and his cronies are the other mobsters that will whack you for drawing too much attention.

    That's a pretty good comparison.

Right. Trump is awesome because he's so incredibly corrupt that he exposes all the mildly corrupt politicians. Therefore we need to reelect Trump so that we don't get a mildly corrupt president.

Although it could be better. If we had a president who would start a nuclear WWIII, that would expose all the presidents who supported petty little pop-gun wars.

    The ol' switcharoo...

    https://www.cnn.com/2019/12/14/poli...rties-republican-trump-impeachment/index.html

(CNN)A freshman Democrat, who strongly opposes House Democrats' impeachment of President Donald Trump, is expected to switch to the Republican Party and is telling colleagues his intentions, according to a senior Democratic aide.

Rep. Jeff Van Drew is considering the switch as he struggles in New Jersey politics. Internal polling has shown he was losing major support from Democrats in the district, Democratic sources told CNN on Saturday. Switching parties would allow Van Drew to avoid a Democratic primary challenge for his seat.
New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy on Saturday blasted the change, saying Van Drew is "willing to enable Donald Trump just to try to salvage his own election."
"Betraying our values by siding with Donald Trump is the final straw and made it impossible for him to continue being supported by our party, as grassroots activists, local party leaders in his district, and I have made clear in recent weeks," Murphy, a Democrat, said in a statement. "This party switch is cynical and desperate, and I am confident that a Democrat who shares the values and priorities of our Democratic Party will hold this seat."..........
