    What happened to Simons?
    It's really unfortunate that we can't play Whiteside and Nurkic together. The best new guy we got in the offseason can't be a part of the future.

    Sadly, I agree.

    Gary's improvement defensively has been a bright spot this season for sure.

    If he can regain confidence in his shot, that'll also set up his pull-up game. Next step is to make one or two dribbles and make a good decision consistently.

    If he can put that all together, he could be low end rotation guy for a good while in this league.

    so...I got a phone call I had to take and missed some of the game. When I came back, I hear Brooke talking about big injury news...about a beer...? Must have been a slow night, and then it sounded like whoever spilled the beer slipped her some cash for a some PR about a beverage company...wut?

    There are minutes for both of them but I think you're picking Trent over Simons because of expectation level. If Trent was the Chosen One and played like he did tonight, you'd think it was an off night, I think. Simons is still averaging nearly 10 ppg. He had a game with 15 points in the 4th quarter against the Clippers on national TV. Haven't seen Trent do that yet. But it needn't be either/or. With Hood (and now Mario) out, there are minutes for both of them.

    Nah. I don’t care about WL record until Nurk and Zach come back. For now we should just try to develop our future pretty much regardless of how they play. I’d even try to get him more shots moving him off the ball. He’s getting capped on his drives. Give him something simpler. I would play Trent and Nas a lot more too though. Why do we even play Tolliver.

    I didn't watch the game for this reason. I checked the box score and sure enough a DNP. That means I'm not watching the next game. This team is not good. They are mortgaging the future for disgusting basketball.
