A New York restaurant is advertising its Valentine's day lunch. Dessert is "chocolate mouse brownie", described as "chocolate brownie stuffed with chocolate mouse". Spell check doesn't replace brains... Speaking of which, its got auto corrected inaccurately to it's. Had to go back and fix.
For clarification to the reader, I spell that word " its' " which shows the possessive form. Yeah, technically incorrect but the reader sees immediately what's going on and that's what really matters.
Without further clarification 'it' would have to be a pronoun. As far as being correct, I already said that it was technically incorrect but that its' intent is immediately recognizable.
Good thing they didn’t say chocolate moose otherwise customers would be expecting a much bigger portion!
