Anyone hear anything postgame about cj?

i cant find any updates. Look like a potential 2-4 week sprain recovery from what i could see.
    Anyone hear or read anything?

is Dame going to be the lone starter left for a while?

whats ne.....nevermind. We all k ow what would be next. cant even fathom that...

All indications are this is just a sprained ankle. CJ in the post game interview acknowledged as much. Was kind of a weird roll. Made me think it was more but i guess not? One part about it was that he didn't even try to walk it off. He went straight back to the locker room. So that leads me to believe it was a bad sprain.

thats kinda how i saw it too. the way he hopskipped off right to the lockerroom.
    I'm thinking 2-4 weeks. 6-12 games missed.

Allstar break might make it less games though.

You know, I'm getting the feeling that this year just might not be their year. Not sure why I feel this way.

That is pretty obvious... the bigger issue IMO is that Neil seems like he wants to stick to his original plan going forward... with how many injuries Nurk has had in his short career, with how serious of an injury Hood is coming back from, with how unproven Zach is, with Dame and CJ being 30 next season, with limited cap room by letting Whiteside and Bazemore walk... the rumors of him sticking with his plan is frightening... seems like most logical people would got to plan b... trade CJ, maybe Nurk, retain Whiteside having a career year... I don’t know, just do something different

can you please refrain from turning this into another one of your “NO needs to make a change/ trade cj” discussions? This is about CJ’s ankle and how long he will be out.
You have a couple pages of threads where your comment would fit better.
Dont make this thread just another thread about your opinion of the team please???????????

That's an interesting point about that I haven't even thought about yet, he already had 2 major Injurys in his career, if i remember right he also had a Injury in Denver which took him of for a while, when i think about it, I have to ask can he really be our Center of the Future? I mean from a skill point he definetly could, but it could also be just a Matter of Time until the next Big injury, can we Trust him to stay healthy? If i was Neil i would definitely Think about it

sometimes a sprained ankle can be severe; the player can't put any weight on it at all. That just happened to Jamal Murray and he had to have two guys do the each-shoulder-supported-hurt-leg-in-the-air-carry to the locker room. He's expected to miss multiple weeks

CJ's wasn't as bad. He had a heavy limp but he was putting weight on it. I'd think a couple of weeks at the most. I'm not a doctor but if I had a dollar for every time I sprained my ankle, I could afford to stay at a Holiday Inn for a week

BUT, this may be a perfect opportunity for Blazer management to do some subtle tanking. Hold CJ out a few games longer than necessary, to be safe (wink-nod). They sure don't seem in any hurry to try out 10-day contracts on bigs or fill the injury exception or use more vet minimum deals. They need to send a memo to Stotts though because Stotts played Dame 40 minutes last night, and to my eyes, Dame was running on empty the last 5 minutes

exactly....in a tank battle, you need to attack from several directions

At this point, I would just rest Dame before he gets hurt and call it a season

The way this year is going, Dame won't get hurt until Nurk comes back.

Or is it one of those against all odds situations?!

$100 on the Blazers to win the championship would pay out $6500!
