Yes, except, what is equally true, and I say this having grown up as an L.A./ California driver:

    Oregon drivers are The Worst!

As a boater myself for many many years, one of my favorite past times was going down to the Willamette Park boat ramp and watching the entertainment. It can be quite comical. I was thinking about sitting down there and holding a sign "I will launch and load your boat for $25.00."

We braved a horrible snow storm yesterday. We nearly had a light dusting of snow, nearly. The storm raged on 'till nearly noon when it warmed up and all trace was gone. Somehow, we managed to get out alive. I kid you not, nearly a light dusting.

Yeah, nearly. Our lawn had none. Most lawns in our neighborhood had none. The VA hospital at about 600 feet altitude had zero. All the 11 miles from my house to the VA hospital had none. Some areas in my neighborhood had an extremely light dusting. But we braved it.
Had to go to the grocery store and stock up before the storm. Lucky for us that we got to the store early before they ran out of flashlights and flashlight batteries, bread, milk, pizzas, beer and first aid kits. Oh, and gas for our car.
