    If there are parallel universes, I wonder what it's like being in the one where Nurk didn't get hurt last year, Collins didn't dislocate his shoulder, Rodney didn't tear his achilles and the team didn't draft Oden/Bowie/Martin. I'd like to visit that universe someday.

    But mostly, I hope that universe still has Dunkin Donuts in Oregon.

    Maybe we haven't had great rookies? I don't recall too many Jermaine O'Neal's leaving Stotts/Portland and lighting the NBA on fire.

    The Blazers are playing a guy who couldn’t get a job (Carmelo), Swanigan, two guys who sat all last year (Trent and Simons), Hezonja and 36 year old Ariza. And Lillard and overrated Whiteside. But they are supposed to be beating a team with a potential MVP and Porzingis and a bunch of good role players coached by a top 3 coach?

    I really don’t get it with Stotts. Every year he sees teams effectively blitz and double Dame out high on court. This makes it difficult for Dame and Portland to run their preferred offense.

    Yet on defense, he’s okay with Kanter switching out on Steph Curry and Whitesde/Swanigan switching out on Doncic...

    He got Wright somehow, drafted Brunson in the 2nd round, somehow traded for the legendary Doncic, then literally got Porzingas for nothing, then they have that dude who tore his Achilles, then that white boy whose last name starts with a K who hits 3s, I mean wtf this is something else and they didn’t even
