After missing the past 3 games it was nice to see CJ McCollum come back blazin'. 11-21 from the field for 52%, 6-9 from 3 for 67% and doling out 5 assists. Glancing through the game thread I find guys like TBPup still dogging on him. It's sad that we have such a talented player that continually gets dogged on by some fans of the Portland Trailblazers.
So fans are supposed to change their opinion of CJ because of 1 decent game? And the issue most have with CJ is not his individual talent, but the fact that he goes ISO and doesn’t play within the system like last night. If he did, I don’t think anyone would complain. Blazers still last in entire NBA in assists 2 of last 3 seasons and that is largely due to CJ’s style of play, not his talent, and one game didn’t change that.
Hey--maybe make a thread that's supposedly about my dude CJ just be about my dude CJ and not about how other posters post. Appreciate him coming back strong and helping our team to a big win.
Unlike you, I can multi task. I can start an appreciation thread about McCollum as well as call out the hypocrisy of some posters.
CJ played an excellent game. Dame was fantastic...again. Carmelo was solid. Hassan was good for the most part. The Blazers won. I'm happy.
