Why? The game y’all had against the Ravens in the SB had to be WAY more heartbreaking considering it was in the Redzone...

Sorry man, I've got a friend who is a huge 49ers fan, even went to the NO game. He's crushed right now.

Think that’s bad? Try watching your team throw an INT at the goal line, I still haven’t recovered from it... I refuse to watch that highlight, like when they bring it up on the broadcast I mute and look away.

But, their team this year was so unstoppable...so dominate. A SB win seemed imminent.

Yeah, I’d get that. You’re clearly a Seahawks fan and have won less than either franchise.

I feel the same envy about NBA teams as a Blazers fan.

Eh, they weren’t that good. Their defense was good, but offense? Meh.

Still think Seattle would’ve given them a real challenge in the NFCCG.

Meh, the way they lost, I can live with it. Shanahan was out-coached or outsmarted himself. The team on the field is as good as any. You play to your strengths to get the first down when you’re up three late, you get a first and run the clock out. You get a questionable call that cost you three points late in the first half. The Niners has every chance to win the game and they lost it themselves but it wasn’t just one play.

For me, it’s easy to walk away, but I’m not a huge NFL fan and admit to following the Niners in good times and fading away in the bad. It sucks that they lost, but they had the game and gave it away. Nobody but Niners fans will remember as such, but they easily could have won and lost on silly and questionable game management.

It's okay, they tried. Next year it will be the Cowboys led by Mike McCarthy in the superbowl and will show you how to win a 6th one. :bgrin:

Y’all do have to pay a lot of good players, which means some will be cast aside. It sucks, but it’s the reality of being a super bowl team.

meh. Got me. But I remember more than you’ve won. And I remember the NFL’s biggest choke job history has ever seen (C’awks v. NE).

my team also has a fan base that has more than a teenage existence.
