Good s2er: Heart Warming Story Practical s2er: 35 minutes is too long. Synopsis? Deadline s2er: LaMarcus back to Portland confirmed!
Pretty sad story as she is a very classy young lady and you can tell the players and coaches really like her as well as the broadcast team. Took a lot of guts to share that with the fans.
Lamar Hurd deserves some credit as well as he handled a very emotional situation with the utmost class.
About 10 years ago. It sounds like he was a professional athlete in good health, with undiagnosed heart disease. She's telling her story in hopes that others might get checked out if something seems wrong.
It's a long video, but if you ever get the chance to watch it, she does a really good job. You can tell how hard it is for her to talk about, but Lamar does the interview and he is so good and calm, and professional. He did a great job of letting her talk through it, not interrupting her. It's a very well spent half an hour IMO.
I love Brooke! Of course I don't know her, but as a sideline reporter and just following her on social media, I get the impression that she is a truly genuine person. I can't help but wonder if her life experience has shaped that genuineness. I can tell she's loved by players and staff, and the way she takes some of the youngsters like Amara under her wing is commendable. I hope she's a Blazer for life.
