The meh comment was mostly about the team in general and Middleton / Bledsoe.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
If you think everyone other than Antetokounmpo is meh, you must think Antetokounmpo is arguably the greatest player ever, taking a weak roster to this kind of record. They're about on pace for a 70-win season. Even if the East isn't as strong as the West overall, it's not historically bad or anything.

Personally, I think Middleton is really good. I'd much rather have him on a basketball team than McCollum, if that's what we're discussing here.

I think your hatred of Giannis' style of play is clouding your judgement a little here, he he.

Not a ~70 win team. They won 60 wins, in a weaker East. There's a pretty huge difference between 60 and 70 wins.

Sure but they havent won 70 games yet. This team is more talented than that ATL team and doesnt have a prime Lebron to deal with, but apparently Prime Kawhi can do it.

Obsession is not the five minutes I've probably spent making fun of you. It's criticizing CJ all day every day like you do. It's amazing the blood sweat and tears you poor into such a thing. He's in your head.

I actually am impressed with Giannis, for a guy that tall and long he has an incredible handle and just goes up and down the court with ease. I hate how he and Simmons are officiated (same with Harden), it bothers me when one guy is allowed to be very physical and others cant be physical back. I also really dislike the eurostep for 1/3rd of the court thing, but it is what it is and to Giannis’ credit he has definitely worked on the outside shot and if he keeps getting better at the rate he has he might have a legendary career.

Im just not overly in love with the guys around him, not that they’re bad but its such a “system” team built around a superstar that I think the guys around him really, really benefit from it. Like when Lebron was making Larry Hughes a name we recognize or when Dame made Nurkic into a real force. Its not so much a knock on those other guys, its just that I think there are a lot more guys who could do what their doing if given the chance then have the talent to do what Giannis or other super stars do.

so you've moved from obsession to lame exaggeration. And I've never poored anything, although pouring expensive single-malt scotch on game night can make me poorer. Maybe not wiser

Until they lost to Indiana last week, the Bucks were 5-0 without Giannis this season. Not saying that necessarily proves anything but there is a ton of talent on that team. Plus they have your favorite Blazer of all-time.

Portland's record is 25-31. Probably not considered winning games in most people's view.
We agree on this. Quite a bit indeed.
The original statement is if CJ had his own team in the east he would most likely be an All-Star. Hard to say but i tend to agree. There is another way to look at it. Has CJ being willing to be the second option held him back? Guess we won't know any time soon. But i'm betting he steps up just like he always does when this team needs him to do it during this time when Lillard is needing time to heal.

Bradley Beal is averaging 29 PPG and 6 APG right now and he wasn't an all-star, so I disagree that C.J. would make it as the #1 option, since that team would probably have to be as bad as Washington is now, and I don't see C.J. outperforming that. Of course, in different year and with different candidates, C.J. might luck his way in, but I don't see it.
