You need to have guards that want to play defense aggressively, on a consistent basis, like Wes Mathews did here, under Stotts. We've seen GTjr. demonstrate he's willing to play it aggressively.
Dame has improved and even CJ can play passing lanes fairly well, but neither are of the Type Wes was or guys like Butler, Leonard etc.
The the addition of Ariza has helped much like Turner D play.
If Collins & Nurk return and can really D up, along the the development of Little, couple with GTjr and maybe the addition of another 2/3 defensive player (next year) I believe we will be improved big time. But Dame and CJ together back court is not an aggressive pair defensively, and probably would remain the same regardless who the coach is.

    Huh...
Not too sure about that analogy, dude, and not too sure how you possibly could know how "Every other team..." views their head coach and GM...
I'd start with Miami and San Antonio.

Name one poster who has said they expect Stotts and Olshey should be lifetime apointments.

Is 15 minutes enough time for you?

Naah, I won't obey either of your commands. I don't even know where the Ignore button is, or the board rules (there weren't any till you guys showed up). I've never clicked on either.

I have no doubt you can find glowing comments about Nate as a coach from his peers.

I think the way certain players treated Nate was despicable, but I'm not sorry the Blazers moved on.

I was skeptical of Stotts when he was hired, but he has won me over with his success.

This season is just a massive clusterf***. We knew the first 20 games would be tough as the players developed chemistry. No one saw this team becoming the 4077 during that time. Popovich or Phil Jackson couldn't have won this season with these injuries.

Glad to hear Stotts is staying.

Cleaning the glass has great stats on this...

Someone please point out if any of the TNT guys say Stotts is an inept coach.

Nothing in the pre-game, 1st half, or halftime. They must be saving all the juicy content for the second half.

Technically they praised Stotts in the 1st quarter for the Blazers still being in the playoff hunt with all the injuries.

When I watch the other team's broadcast, they often smirk at Stotts' defensive choices on a couple of plays.

Other teams show their announcers smirking? That's odd.
