This beef between Harden and Giannis is funny, but they are on a different level. Sorry James.

Maths are hard for media peeps.

    31-11 = 0.738
    29-10 = 0.744

Lakers have a better record during that period.

True, but if those were the records in the standings, they would technically show the 31-11 team as 1/2 game ahead of the 29-10, even with a lower win percentage.

That's one way of looking at it, I suppose. Totally meaningless to have "standings since XYZ," but logical if the task were computerized and the gopher unable to grasp that context.

One glance at the numbers should have made them second guess the order of the list. Two teams at 70+ percent...one team is 2-1 ahead of the other...that's an extra 67% in those games...that's lower than each team's base percentage...the team with more games has to have a worse percentage.

Or the list was "who had the most wins since XYZ" and they gave it an inaccurate label. :dunno:

Around the campfire, the elders tell tales of when the Blazers actually had a modicum of cap flexibility.

adding to the mystery, Curry only had a 1 year deal, while Hezonja has a 2 year deal. I get why Curry probably wanted a 1 year deal, but Hezonja?

Man miss this dude. Especially his defense. Basically banking on weak ass Simons to be something.

Well, Hezonja's 2nd year is a player option at basically the minimum. It was initially reported that Curry had a player option for the 2nd year as well but he would've turned it down either way. It does make you wonder if we offered Curry say a 3 year deal say for $13 million or so total would he have taken it or was he only looking to take one year prove it deals since he had missed the entire season prior?

On a different note, tonight OKC started Adams and 4 guys 6'5" or less. After the 1st quarter the Bucks dominated the game - but I give the ZombieSonics points for trying something different in a game they were likely to lose anyway.

They tried something different and were down by more than 50 at one point. Can you imagine what this board would do to Terry Stotts if he was down by over 50 and ended up losing by 47? This is a team that just went 14-3 in the last 17 games with wins over the Rockets, Pelicans, Nuggets and one of their losses was a one point loss to the Celtics. Why on earth would you try something different?
