I'm thinking it's less and less likely the NBA can salvage this season. By about every projection by every expert, this pandemic is going to be much worse in june and july than it is now. The league office might need to start thinking about what happens next season if there isn't a vaccine yet

Oh you mean.. like what you just did?

telling CJ what he should and should not do?

CJ doesn’t need your advice so this is... rich.

even when games aren’t being played, you still find a way to bag on CJ

    It almost seems... personal.

Oh my God. They just said that the next step is that we won't be able to leave our house except to buy groceries or walk the dog and there will be a required distance of 6 feet from other people.

Its self-inflicted wounds and deaths at some point. If people cant leave their house, they cant produce food, they cant supply food, there will no groceries to buy. So saying you can go buy groceries, really? From who?

13 cases? That's a lie just like they've been doing this whole time.

    Yes, it's from the 11th.

In China, life returning to normal as coronavirus outbreak slows

Coronavirus: Wuhan doctors celebrate closure of last temporary hospital after dramatic fall in cases in China
    https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...s-video-doctors-nurses-hospital-a9402631.html

Since there are still new cases, perhaps what is happening in China is that they believe infrastructure in place can deal with those new cases, that they are past an explosion in new cases. Which I think is the big fear in the USA , the inability to deal with a huge simultaneous increase in cases.

If it's only 13 then it's good news. It cannot go away entirely, but 13 out of 1.4 billion is really nothing. At one point it was thousands every day, if you check the graph (https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/china/) it certainly seems under control. If it is real stats of course.

So I have family and friends in China. Things are getting better there (cities outside of Wuhan anyway), less restrictions, more people going back to work, but not everything is up and running again. The mood and optimism of the people is definitely changing and the sentiment is things are getting better.

I'd also be pretty skeptical about any reports coming out of China. Have to see how that plays out over time. But it's possible that China was able to lock down the virus in Wuhan Province using measures we'd have to suspend the constitution to approach. Besides that, it's all over the USA by now and even China is able to test at many times the rate as we are.
