I have a friend who works at Office Depot. He said the worst location in the district is up 250% week to date. His location is up 600%.

They (the fake news left-owned media) are actively and constantly blathering on 24/7 that people are indeed panicking, scared, confused and on the verge of utter despair. It's another deliberate disinformation campaign to unseat the President which "coincidentally started the day after their fake impeachment turned to dust. It's a fucking lie just like everything they've said since the day Trump announced he was running. They've covered nothing of informational value to help citizens in our emergency and it's disgusting and treasonous.

Interesting since we dont live that far apart. I know that in our business park every single business but ours is closed and we are open mainly because of the feds. The park we normally take our kids too (Dogwood park in cornelius) has been completely barren, which surprised me.

My experience is similar to yours. Was on the road for the first time this week today and it was barren. I think most people are taking this seriously. Except young people. My 19 year old nephew won’t stay home.

For one, it's tax time and many entire industries are operating out of their homes and need to keep physical records. For example Realtors are not going in to the office and Title companies are doing 95% of their work from home. In Beautiful Central Oregon that's probably 6-7,000 people in just one industry. I'm using about 10 times the paper and ink I normally do. Also I assume many people are replacing their old pc's and such in prep for being at home. Not all businesses are threatened, some will thrive and new niches will be born. Home entertainment is exploding and I expect the music industry will move away from in-person concerts to a more intimate VR experience in your living room.

Some people are upset at the fact businesses are open like Home Depot. It's kinda hard to believe that they will slow the Coronavirus with keeping businesses open like they are. All it takes is a few morons and a few people. And Trump keeps on with his 15 day shit. Even Grocery stores and Pharmacy's but I get it. Not everyone does the online thing and people need there prescriptions and food.

Yes, and as I pointed out at least twice, he's both saying it and doing it.

Interesting. Seems rather high risk, but interesting.

I think it's more like they're loading up on the latest tech for when they're quarantined.

The beach towns are apparently overcrowded this evening with all the selfish people who still decided to go forward with spring break plans.

Again, people aren't taking this seriously. Until it's an order to stay home there will be a certain percentage that won't comply.
