Even with the order they won't comply. It's not until deaths start climbing high that they'll get the message and by then it's too late.
This is going to get unbelievably worse with astounding death rates.
Too bad, many more people would be listening if it werent'f for all the assholes saying it's contained airtight or that it's only like the flu or a bad cold. Rush Limbaugh, who knows nothing about anything and would appear to have trouble tying his own shoes, says this virus is a type of cold. Wait 'till he gets this cold and needs a respirator.

How many times have you seen, read, or heard that Trump 'dissolved the Pandemic Response team'? Well, as expected, there is quite a different side to that story. Instead of someone just raving that it happened, someone who was actually there for what really happened. Again, this is not a Trump is all wrong or Trump is all right commentary. Just a search for more objective, informed truth than much of what is going around.

I don't have a subscription and was able to read the whole article. Here are a couple of key paragraphs. It should be noted some of those 'bloated' individuals were in charge during the H1N1 outbreak. This is not to assign blame or get into a who's right, who's wrong. It's just a different perspective from someone who was there versus Facebook meme's and some newscaster blaming everything possible on the the current President.

"When I joined the National Security Council staff in 2018, I inherited a strong and skilled staff in the counterproliferation and biodefense directorate. This team of national experts together drafted the National Biodefense Strategy of 2018 and an accompanying national security presidential memorandum to implement it; an executive order to modernize influenza vaccines; and coordinated the United States’ response to the Ebola epidemic in Congo, which was ultimately defeated in 2020.

It is true that the Trump administration has seen fit to shrink the NSC staff. But the bloat that occurred under the previous administration clearly needed a correction. Defense Secretary Robert Gates, congressional oversight committees and members of the Obama administration itself all agreed the NSC was too large and too operationally focused (a departure from its traditional role coordinating executive branch activity). As The Post reported in 2015, from the Clinton administration to the Obama administration’s second term, the NSC’s staff “had quadrupled in size, to nearly 400 people.” That is why Trump began streamlining the NSC staff in 2017."

Hardware stores do a lot to help people though. For instance, were trying to get our house put together this weekend Ive been to a hardware store twice... I may have to go again, so we can finish it and move our kids back in. If someone has an home emergency being able to a hardware store to get supplies is necessary especially when were trying to stay inside.

Still going by this site trying to check it daily at about the same time (Im an hour behind today)
The death rate in the US is down to 1.27%. The total recovered has Started to go up at a quicker pace in the US too. The trends look good. I know people will question those numbers and all the politics involved. I am simply just taking the numbers we have. Hope they continue to trend that way.

You can see Fauci just cringes every time Trump or Pence speaks.

In terms of total number infected... we really need to wait until we have readily available testing before we can say anything is going down. It's unfortunate...
