Wish all politicians would act like those two.

maybe, but I posted some testing comparisons by states a few days ago based upon this map:

    https://www.politico.com/interactives/2020/coronavirus-testing-by-state-chart-of-new-cases/

I compared the ratios of numbers of tests vs number of positive results; they have changed over the last week or so,
but as of today, total-tests/positive-results for some states:

    New Mexico 36.7
    Montana 22.9
    Utah 19.5
    Oregon 18.0
    Arizona 13.9
    Washington 12.1
    Texas 10.5
    Nevada 9.6
    Florida 9.6
    Idaho 8.9
    Colorado 5.5
    Louisiana 5.2
    California 3.3
    New York 2.6
    Michigan 1.9

obviously, states with small populations have an easier time testing. And there is some suspect skew against 'blue' states. That Texas and Florida are able to test at 3-4 times the rate of California, New York, and Michigan looks really suspicious

but Oregon appears to be doing well in relation to positive test results

Hope Oregon doesn't need them any time soon because if they do they aren't getting them back.

Not going to lie, I was really happy to learn that my job was included in the essential business category. My job is under the guidance of Florida Wildlife Research Institute, and a lot of the positions were deemed non essential.

I hate to say it amongst all the praise and thanks she’s receiving from New Yorkers and others (she’s trending on twitter), but that was my very first thought when I read the news

Speaking for Texas, my county has drive through testing available daily that can handle up to 500 people

Yeah yikes, Do you want a Corporation tracking your every move? Which will then lead to the Government taking it and using it for their own means to control their citizens? Perhaps you're okay with how many times they know you go into a Wendy's or the gym or a movie theater. How often you go to get a haircut or how long you drink at your favorite bar.

Yes, I know its to aid in Social Distancing and help Healthcare workers in stopping Coronavirus cases but this is how these things start, as an innocent gesture to help.

Governor of Iowa when asked why the state did not have shutdown despite what Dr. Fauci recommended replied that Dr. Fauci might not be very well informed.

Clearly country's top virologist knows less than failed businessman/reality TV host.
