Trouble in SLC https://www.si.com/nba/2020/04/10/rudy-gobert-donovan-mitchell-relationship-salvagable
What’s Mitchell’s problem? Rudy apologized already and understandably didn’t take the virus serious like we all did during the early stages of it. Obviously knowing what we know now that was dumb but Donovan is acting like a baby here
This is dumb. Gobert clearly feels awful and it's not like NBA players haven't been young and dumb. Does Mitchell just want to force his way out? Because if he thinks they'll pick him over Gobert, he's deluded.
We fucked that draft up big time. How do we have 3 draft picks that draft and miss on Bam, John Collins,Jarred Allen, Donovan Mitchell, and even Kuzma..
I don't mind Collins and Kuzma but Bam in particular would've been nice. I still think that if Zach can stay healthy (and it's a big if) then his defense is more valuable than the offense of the Kuzma and the other Collins. After all, JJ Hickson put up big numbers when people gave him PT. But we'll see.
OK, here is Zach Lowe's latest five things. Nothing Blazers, but stuff on why Bobby Portis should never post up and how Devin Booker is like Chris Paul. Somw nice videos on cutting to the basket.https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id...luding-devin-booker-showing-skills-chris-paul
Even before the Miami Heat revealed last week that he stood as the lone player on his team with access to a fixed basketball stanchion, backboard and rim, Jimmy Butler was dishing assists. It turns out that the All-Star forward was ahead of the curve when it came to one-on-none basketball, ordering rims for his entire team at the same time had ordered the one for himself.
The Jazz, utilizing Zoom, have been conducting weekly team meetings with head coach Quin Snyder, in addition to virtual group workouts, and team challenges. “We’ve had like fun little dribbling challenges that one of the coaches started per week and we crown a winner,” Conley said. “Just trying to keep guys engaged as much as possible in hopes that we can get back to playing soon.” Conley has also been trying to stay engaged with his teammates in more recreational ways, playing Call of Duty with Royce O’Neale and Donovan Mitchell and playing Monopoly with Ed Davis.

I just don't think NBA players will want to all be confined to one place. Who knows, maybe they will if it's the only way they can get games played.
