Read a couple responses and decided we’d take our happy asses down to burgerville instead. Tillamook bacon burger and had truffle shoestring fries with garlic aioli dipping sauce that knocked our socks off

Had the truffle fries for the first time a couple months ago, and I was blown away.

ohh yes you can. My father sued them for dental bills of about $15k back in the early 90’s because he bit into a burger and but into an actual steel nut. Lost one tooth and chipped another.

with that said, i like them. Lol

In my Township we have "Rossi's" which had started their famous 1/2 pound premium grade burger in Trenton during the late 30's. Joe DiMaggio ate there. In fact, two blocks away, Willie Mays played a brief period, in a small park.. This was in the time when the "Trenton Makes, the World Takes" sign on the Delaware River bridge really meant that. They bought then moved to larger accommodations, found in a once popular steak chain branch in Hamilton Township, which now has approximately 90,000 people.
    >We are getting hit hard with the Covid-19 here in Mercer, but not as severe as the Northeast corner of the State *(Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Union,Somerset, Morris and Middlesex counties) and southward including Monmouth County towards Ocean County.

Burgerville is very good in its own right, but I don't think it is anything like Burgerville, In-N-Out feel's more fast foodie to me.

I went to an IN and OUT last time I was out west and it wasn’t nearly as good as I remembered, very greasy.

good point, Burgerville isn't really "fast food", but than again I don't really eat fast food much at all.

People act like In-n-out is the best thing ever, and to me it's nothing special. It's like Burgerville in the sense that it's a local company. But In-n-out benefits from the self entitled belief that Californians have that "California = better". It's a mindset that we don't do up in Oregon/Washington.

How about Bonnie burgers? A small chain in Portland. Hamburgers were 15 cents. Burger, bun, lettuce, tomato, a full slice of onion, pickle and sauces.

In the 60’s and 70’s there was Harry’s Hurry In on Lombard. Five burgers for a buck. Great place to buy gut bombs after a long night of partying.......and they were reasonably tasty.

My friend loved that place. He could eat mass quantities for little money.

    I hated it.

In N Out is always busy and apparently they pay better in comparison to other fast food.

I don't eat fast food so I don't go there.

The worst is White Castle. Have you ever eaten something mass produced and frozen that is just as good as the real thing?

I had frozen White Castle years ago...yuck.

Figured I'd try the real thing when they opened in Vegas....yuck.

Not sure I could tell the difference.
