We're ok on the Left Coast.
    Approximately 1,000 COVID-19 cases locally.
Still there are those who failed to take precautions here, no use of PPE when such is mandatory. Still groups of >12 kids playing hoops. Still the ignorant are holding parties.
Worse yet, I reported the latter 2 incidents to the State and County. They acted very concerned, but told me to report this to the Sheriff's office and the LASD have yet to appear! Wtf?

In the meantime I've witnessed a severe schizophrenic down the street call 911, 18 times in 29 days, sometimes twice in 24 hours. The LAFD and EMR Ambulance have taken her to the Hospital every time.

Next stop, letter to the LA County Board of Supervisors, who will ignore the letter, so, hopefully some one at the LA Times will investigate how this is being enabled.

As many mentally ill people reside in LA County and are welfare recipients, have access to only ONE Hospital 45 miles away. No Vacancy obviously.
    What gets me is-
They will not admit here citing a lack of beds, yet having LAFD EMT's roll with an Ambulance ride is approximately >$2 Grand per call, of taxpayers $$. The County could build a new Ward.

These EMT responses cost her nothing!

The last thing the local hospital and EMT personnel need is this type of burden during a pandemic. Because there are no beds available and because there isn't a Mental Health Ward at the local hospital (it was closed due to a lack of $$ funds), it's become a viscous circle!
